  8. Well it was time to question everything in 2020 when we were told to “shelter in place” because of a virus…. Not a Hurricane or tornado or alien invasion… a virus. But instead, everyone went along with it. I didn’t and got called all sorts of names, but I stood my ground and am more glad every day that I did.

  10.  @JamasSeguro  well I totally agree with that - one of my good friends is an FNP and is better than most GP doctors so I don’t disagree that a motivated, caring person can be good with either level of training but I’ve seen too many NPs that simply don’t have the depth of training to properly evaluate anything more complex than the most common chronic conditions. I’ve worked in hospitals and primary care environments for the last decade so have a fair bit of exposure but you’re right, it comes down to the individual. I’d rather have an intelligent NP that cares than the average MD i just haven’t seen enough to think they are that common I suppose. Plus the medical system is so broken is really doesn’t reward people who care and want to go the extra mile so they’re all disincentivized to be exceptional.

  11. @ well I own the company and don’t have to ask permission - plus I’m not a software company or anything like that so don’t have 100 engineers or anything like that so the cost wasn’t as big of a deal. Also, I have a really hard to understanding people with think accents and was willing to pay extra just to be able to communicate easily and found they were actually more competent as well.

  13.  @aieahi1  I’ve gotten sunburned me whole life, I’m a white dude - when I switched to carnivore diet I got dark brown tanned for the first time ever and it takes hours of direct sun to get anywhere near burned. Never expected that to happen and never even heard of it happening until it happened to me but it absolutely happened. Seed oils or something, not sure of the cause but cutting out everything but meat and fruit totally changed it.

Because I have a brain and am a pharmacist and there was no way in hell I was taking what amounted to an experimental drug with ZERO medium to long term safety data in order to possibly lessen the symptoms of an infection that had less than a 0.05% mortality rate in general population and vastly less in young healthy people.

It’s a team effort for sure and I love that RFKJ had the spine to realize Trump winning was the highest priority and I agree with almost everything he says about health/pharma/etc.
