I've seen on more than one occasion your leaders talking about how you all might finally "get your freedoms back" once they feel like covid is under control. All the videos of riots and stuff not true? Victoria has limits on how far you can go from your house and for what reasons or is that untrue also? Businesses still mostly shutdown or very recently allowed to open or another falsehood?

I'm sure he never really thought he'd change the mind of the Leftys that were trying to pass the law, he's not that naive. He's doing much more good than simply stopping that stupid law.

But I think the whole point of that is just that He told man to eat plants with seeds because if a plant has seeds then it'll reproduce on its own so they wouldn't run out. Plus He told man that before the Fall.. so makes sense that once humans were no longer immortal then the aging process began, which allowed for there to be things that affect that process as poison. Super interesting to think about

But the problem is that right and wrong, good and bad HAVE to be based on something that doesn't change or else who am I to say murder is bad when you can just say it's good? This is the most simple way to say it - if you accept that there is such a thing as right and wrong, then there has to be a source for that information - if the source is anything based on humans than by what authority can anything be called right or wrong when humans disagree on everything?

Yeah he specifically says it’s a PSYCHOLOGICAL interpretation of the Bíblical stories and never claims to be interpreting it in a purely religious way or that he’s teaching the Bible as a Priest. Do u not realize that the text has infinite levels of meaning and just because he isn’t mentioning the meaning that you’re familiar with doesn’t mean he’s wrong? A lifetime of listening to Preachers/Elders and Peterson has shed light on meaning that I’ve never heard - but I’m sure you know better right?   20.  @ozowen5961  evolution from one species to another and from creatures with no conscious thought to creatures with conscious thought haven't been proven so you can't sit there and say the mechanism is the only thing unproven, that's simply wrong. If you were as smart as you think you are then you'd realize there's actually a good reason things in science are called theories... It's because much smarter people than you realized that nearly every single thing we've considered as fact at one time or another has been proven wrong upon getting more information. Evolution is no different and anyone that defends it as if it's proven fact and thinks the discussion of alternate ideas is a waste of time isn't interested in science, they're interested in dogma.

Which are all good things at this point so I don't mind people giving him a platform. I'd much rather listen to him than someone like Karl Rove or Eric "China" Swallwell or some other establishment mouthpiece that's got us in this situation we're in now.

When unbelievers finally realize or discover or accept that there is, in fact, an ultimate truth that is unchangeable, then it's very hard to not end up believing in God or at least a higher intelligence unless that person purposefully denies logic and just refuses to work out where that belief leads.

Attia is so stuck on only believing what he’s read in a paper that he can’t just use common sense and reason backwards to a hypothesis. Evidence based practice is great, but if you’re too strict on that then you’ll always be years behind the most current CORRECT ideas out there.

He said the story had to make sense to everyone so it was written in a way to be both literally true but to also have a much deeper meaning and no matter which way you look at it the story is true in every sense of the word. Or at least that's what I think he meant but he did leave some ambiguity in it.

Epic of Gilgamesh, sediment layers spread across large distances, sea fossils found on the tops of mountains, large graveyards of fossils that indicate large flood. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. You're not worth talking to if you think you know without a doubt that there was no flood 7500 years ago. Go read some books.
