  1. Basically I like everything about the Roma minus 2 t hings. The very front end of the nose and the ipads in the interior. Oh and the capacitive t ouch stuff on the wheel. Also in this dark green it actually looks better than the silver in the press photos or the red.

  3. I know someone who used to race the old RT-10 in a Van Halen livery. The damn torque is insane. Also, the original Viper engine was designed with/by Lamborghini, who used to make tractors.

  9. Rev counter moves the right way again 🙌 Interior looks sexy AF but the instrument cluster looks out of place in an Aston. BTW that driver's side door isn't hung properly. I wouldn't accept that in a car this expensive 😂 Gap at the top is wider than at the bottom.

  11. The E39 M5 is one of the quintessential powersaloons. That V8 and the RWD sales-representative type platform. Also LOL your wheels are in super condition compared to the ones on my ford :D I blame the first owner (I'm the third)

  12. 3400lbs? whut? that's around as much as my mondeo estate (2.5T) weighs. Daymn son. It does seem to track properly, even on the tires that are maybe a bit too soft for the situation. Also I see analog gauges, a lot of them.

  15. 2 friends of mine had one of these for a few years. One had one that used to be turbo'd..... yeah that blew a hole in the block after a year and a half. The other was stock and is still running, just with another owner. Great cars.

  16. NGL the rev counter looks like something out of a clio. Other than that, why is the battery uncovered? And yes that V6 sounds great. In the new Lotus the V6 one is also the one to get imo because A manual and B no way a 4 banger is gonna sound like that. Wait, I just noticed. Those vent grilles/flaps are from a Ford Mondeo 😂

  21. You don't really need beefy rear brakes in a normal track car really. It's just there to make sure the back end doesn't go all over the place. And damn that demo model looks spot on, very 70-80's color scheme, love it. Thing sounds proper angry too, is that the stock exhaust? Like, are the baffles rattling or did they just bolt an exhaust straight to the floor? And yes, the one thing you have to learn when racing an old fashioned manual is when to just leave it in the taller gear because you'll lose the time you gain and then some by shifting double.

  28. seriously one of my favorite gauge clusters. Also this red is amazing, the engine sounds beautiful, yep, this is still it. Seating position is quite like a 90's nissan primera, ever drove one of those? it's very dull untill you put it on a set of good tires and start chucking it. They're quite good on backroads. Not like an elise but for a dull 4 door saloon very surprising.

  30. the 2 things I don't like about this car are the counter clockwise tacho (really, just make it run the other way around) and the parking brake that can be down but still on 😂 Yes, I'm one of those. These things are gorgeous and sound amazing, imo they look way better than the generation that superceded it.

  31. driving without doors is underrated. It's such an experience and you feel so connected to the road. it's what made the BMW Z1 instantly much better than it already was: You could drive with the doors down.

  32. My 79 ford camper had seatbelts like that on it's captain seats. Safety is... different in this era :) But man back in those days they could still make interiors, look at that thing!

  39. Back when they used a digital rev counter because the engine revved faster than a gauge could keep up with. Not because it's en veaugue. That is literally the only reason I'll accept it having a digital dash. 🤣 And it does it. That noise! Only thing I have to say is "looks better in yellow". Do you have to heel-toe it on the downshifts or did this do that automatically already?

  42. An actual rev gauge tho. And yeah that gear selector looks like a key fob, but that's the only meh. That thing is lightning. "only" 572 horespower. I wouldn't buy this as the unicorn car in my collection though, sure it's fast but it's not crazy (compared to how a gt2 / 3 / 4 are) and it does too much for the driver.

  47. short answer: No, long answer: No, if you crash you don't have ANYTHING anymore. That's it for the video title. The only ATE fluid I'd consider for the track is the super blue because a. it has a very high boiling point and B it's color so if you alternate it with a normal fluid you can easily see when all the old stuff is out. Also wtf your trackday ensurance is CHEAP, over here the track insurance was about 10% of your car's estimated worth when I last looked into it 🤣

  49. Wagoneer? It has a cherokee face though, what I dug a bout the old one was the wood panels on the sides. Thing will probably sell good as a company van over here with only the front seats and then a bulkhead to create a cargo space. At least among certain companies that like v8 muscle. I can indeed see this being used as a VIP shuttle at big concerts, race track events etc etc.

  50. Honestly, I have a racecar (old E30's bmw) and I literally don't take it out if I don't have money to do that trackday AND have enough over to instantly replace my fridge + washing machine + road car at least. I just bought a new road car so I'm in the saving money phase :)
