  18. i'm in the UK and had good health all my life, so i've been paying for other people's care - which is fine, cos now i'm 70 i've had blood tests, ct scans, xrays, take tablets, visits to the doctor every few months, and i think i paid £4.50 for cough medicine that wasn't prescription last week. i have no idea how the NHS is financed, that's how much i worry about getting sick.

  25. i went to a UK state comprehensive school in the 70's, all state schools in the UK are christian, we had christian assembly every morning, with prayers and hymns, we had christian religious studies two hours a week, and i've been atheist all my 70 years. it doesn't always work, the brainwashing.

  39. it's nice that they fed homeless people, makes a change from kicking, spitting on and setting them alight eh. one thing about this, why isn't denmark looking after those homeless? homelessness is a world wide problem, bur civilised counties could cut it considerably by using UBI - EVERYONE gets a $1000 or more per month, that money has to be spent, boosting the economy, and you aren't allowed to "save it", you have $1000 in that account each month unless you spend, then it gets replaced. it pays for rent, clothes, education, childcare, healthcare, it replaces a lot of disability benefit, so you save on bureaucracy.
