  2. Attitude modification via electrified ass plug? Sounds like Kurt Vonnegut's Harrison Bergeron redux. Except we're talking uniformity of feelings rather than uniformity of ability. In Vonnegut's story, ballerinas had to dance in chains and sandbags, and intelligent people had to wear earpieces that disrupted their thoughts at frequent intervals with loud blasts of sound.
