My old white neighborhood in Milwaukee is now one of the most crime-racked ghettos in the U.S. When my sister's high school got integrated (busing) in the early 1970s, she would regularly get thrown against lockers, shaken down for money in her purse and grabbed in the crotch by the newcomers . . . who targeted her because she was white. Of course we got the hell out of there.

  3.  @travv88  That was Custer High in Milwaukee. You know, I've never thought of myself as racist, but I've always been glad that my family moved to a small town and I didn't have to attend Custer, which had become a Milwaukee legend for all the wrong reasons.
