Take it from a nurse-- her care plan will probably read "Target behavior: repetitive, angry ruminations on loss of political campaign. Goal: minimize number of out bursts. Plan: Refrain from orienting resident to reality. Redirect resident from speaking to cameras on unit. Distract with offer of chardonnay or juice. Yeah, my husband, who is from Louisiana, noticed that, too. That was when the penny started to drop: "Could Trump be methodically eating Hillary's lunch, here?" After that, it took Comet's July 5th summary judgment to let her off the hook that made me jump on the Trump Train. Still wasn't sure if he would win, but hopeful, especially when we went to a Wisconsin rally a week before the election and realized that his fairly serious, hopeful message and the huge, peaceful, happy throng there to see him were ridiculously at odds with what the media was saying about the Trump campaign. Then there was election night. That New York Times probability meter steadily flopped over for Trump. A night to remember!

@KingOhmni The least hypothesis is that she has an advancing case of Parkinson's and was a bit overmedicated on carbidopa-levodopa that day. It helps you initiate motion, but then at times causes wormy-looking involuntary movements. And basically only two things will cause a middle-aged person to frequently fall and slam her head with any degree of regularity: chronic alcohol abuse and Parkinson's disease. PD patients are so movement-disordered that they can't reflexively reach out to check a fall. They just face plant like a statue of Robert E. Lee.

I live in Wisconsin, and, during the 2008 primaries, she kept cancelling appearances. I was in the party as an official, then, and I wondered what kind of cockamamie campaign she was running. She backed out of a rally in Eau Claire at the last minute, maybe because Obama scheduled one there for the same day. One of her callers BERATED me for not going because "women should support other women." Fuckwittery! Obama's rally turned out to be HUGE, much as the joyful 11/1/2016 Trump rally in Eau Claire was huge. Hillary's campaign was resorting to cajoling middle-aged women and teachers union members to come, and apparently couldn't scold enough of a crowd to appear. Or maybe she kept cancelling because she was too drunk, too often. What a delusional ditz.

Another delicious aspect of these Clintons with pork chop necklace events is that few of the expensive, up-front seats sell, so the Clintons and their D- list celebrity lures have a "conversation" with a big tract of empty seats between them and the audience.

@Ray Rictor This isn't widely known, but she has a 3D printer inside, put in after she reached the change of life. It's why she and Bill "adopted" an alien baby back in the '90s. Hillary actually printed that little thing. I guess the Air Force confiscated it. Also not well known is that she was at a Boston-area fundraiser in late summer, 2016, when she clutched her back, flopped over, and gave birth to something that appeared to be half camel, half tractor. And the tractor part was a facsimile of a Chinese-made one rather than a John Deere or Farmall. Her handlers tried to cover that one up, and they kept her from appearing anywhere until she could walk straight again. She was a mess. I wonder if they could get her to 3D print diesel fuel . . .

@resigned liberal Wisconsinite, here. I don't think, in retrospect, that her having campaigned more in places like Wisconsin would have helped her win. Styx noticed a lack of HRC signage in Vermont, and so it was here, in Michigan and in other Great Lakes/Blue Wall states. While lawn signs don't win elections, the huge discrepancy between Trump and HRC displays did indicate how little excited her base was. Nobody wanted yet another 51% hedger neoliberal, much less Hillary Clinton. From 1992 onward, listeners had her figured out as an imperious, pandering bullshitter who disdained her audiences. It was never sexism . . . Hillary was just that icky and arrogant. Edited to add that I used to be an active Dem who had a mainly positive opinion about Hillary Clinton as FLOTUS. Turned against her when she carpetbagged New York. Two things I hate are dynasties and fuck-ups like Hillary who have nothing to offer but a long résumé and few accomplishments.
