  2. I first was aware of Biden when he was favored by the press in 1988 to be the front-runner. Then POW! he has to drop out because he plagiarized some stuff in college. Half his family was wiped out in a car wreck, then he almost died from a brain bleed, and I think he was working the "survivor" personal narrative just as the plagiarism gods vaporized him. After that, he was never the flavor of the month, and pretty much took the veil in accepting the VP/gaffe-generator spot from Obama. I'm not sure where the populist perception of Biden ever came from--he was the Senator from Citibank, fer cry-eye! According to Ed Klein, Obama wanted Biden to run, and Biden sort of wanted to, but took a pass because of the river of shit he knew HRC would send his way. Same with Warren, when Obama approached her. She knew exactly what Hillary would do to beat her.

Consider this: most Dems don't fret about gun control or collectivized health care. And rank & file Dems really HATE pointless neocon meatgrinders like Syria. That is to say, you're totally up your own ass, here. You're unable to view Tulsi Gabbard through anyone else's lens but your own.
