  7.  @BaltimoreAndOhioRR  i remember that he also bought some socks, and yes, the big furore was over how disconnected from everyday life he was. Laser scanners had come along while he was still the vice president, and he obviously had been living inside a bubble where he had people to cater to his needs. He was such a phony old bastidge.
