Northern European-descended people like myself tolerate dairy into adulthood because our agriculture centered around dairy. *If I drank cow's milk while my baby was nursing, the cow protein came through in my milk and gave him colic. That might be a reason why a baby can't seem to tolerate his mother's milk. As for the commenter against dairy: I will never convert to your vegan religion, O witch!
