  3. @Log Splitta Dad loved a good joke and a good explosion. He also told people that my big brother had been shot out of a cannon. And he had a couple of cannons that he'd load with blanks and fire on Independence Day, so it seemed appropriate that my sister seemed to have received his "parting shot".
