  1.  @deplorableed4940  "Swoop and scoop" is a legitimate EMT technique, as opposed to "stay and play". Also, back in the 80s and 90s, I was an EMT and would occasionally transfer patients to Hennepin County hospital, and it was a real knife and gun club back then, too. Never forget the first time I saw an ambulance crew bring a cuffed, leg-ironed patient into Hennepin, plus he was chained to the cot.
