Grenell is the kind of public servant we need.

I know press secretaries are never unbiased, but Psaki lies like crazy. Solution to the beer bug: IGNORE IT!

Donald Trump understood deterrence.

Haha--I resemble David Janet's remark about thinking that all the plastic hounds around me had so much more money. I didn't know that they were charging everything! My Great Depression-raised folks inculcated a cash-only mentality in me.

@AndyFromBeaverton Excellent! I feel the same way about the president I helped elect with my Wisconsin ex-Dem vote in 2016. He also has all the best enemies. He does. Everyone says so. 😉

The bedwetting Karens of this country who faint at the thought of an out-of-pocket medical expense and who have never handled a dead body are sorely in need of a reality check. Life is unfair. Everybody dies.

Great interview. I just bought the audio version of Murray's Madness of Crowds and am listening to it as I work. What a relief to hear something intellectually honest from a gay person after years of arrogant, pushy posturing from the media and the corporate world about all things gay. I was pro-gay rights forever, but the relentless dogma raining down was making me feel reactionary and uncharitable toward the whole issue. I hope the other three areas that Murray writes about are treated as honestly. It's refreshing.

Ignore the fear mongering and live life the way we ALWAYS have lived during a respiratory virus outbreak. Free, able to go wherever, unmuzzled and unvaccinated. My 87 year old COPD mother pulled through the disease in a blink. If she could do it, you probably can, too. Almost certainly can, I should say!
10
He makes Eric Holder seem a little bit more reasonable than before.
10
Boy oh boy, is my kid ever a Cartman!

The 2011 recall in Wisconsin failed because the only aggrieved parties were members of the teachers' union, and most of the state loved what their GOP governor was doing. I'm hoping that this recall succeeds, because it is obvious that most of California hate what their governor is doing.

@undergrounddojokeyboardcag701 You're contentious and very boring.
8
I'm an agnostic, but when I hear someone say that God, if He existed, would not let horrible things happen to innocents is just another way of saying, "I am a person incapable of thinking of God other than as another human being". It's always a question worth asking, but it is proof of nothing. It's also very off-putting when presented as a conclusion to people who do have faith.
8
Dave seems about a mile wide and an inch deep. I no longer give a damn about his journey away from the left. For one thing, many of us Democrats woke up and shifted right YEARS before he did.
8
Grennell us a real gem.
8
Just as Bolsheviks stood between parents and their children. It ultimately failed, but only after decades of misery. What is wrong with these people?
8
Vladimir P. recently likened the Woke to Bolsheviks. He was amazed that people seemingly have forgotten what a big flop that was, for, among other things, supplanting children's parents with state-approved teacher puppets.
7
Old Joe is 78 . . . why would he start standing up to grift and authoritarianism at this late date? He has always been a willing stooge for the backer with the fattest wallet.
7
Trying to be relevant in a sad, pathetic way has always been Gore's MO. As when he showcased his sister's death from lung cancer during his presidential campaign for no discernible reason.
7
Back to making your husband a sandwich, Megs.
7
And the result of incompetence is hard to distinguish from the result of evil.
6
@AndyFromBeaverton Your cat would make a better director than Grenell? I don't get it; Grenell is a Donald Trump ally. Or did you mean Christopher Wray? That fellow is a shrinking violet who cares what the Deep State consensus is. Please clarify.
6
@06rtm Start with the fact that he's married to Elaine Chao.
6
You don't have to die fighting. Just exercise your rights. I will join you. Many courageous people will join you.
6
That seemed like a platitudinous letter rapping the hoi polloi on the nose with a rolled-up NYT. "We're too established to brook your criticism." If the insipid Yglesias is to be canceled by a trans-thing, at least let it be over a stronger statement covering everyone, not just the cliquish liberal gatekeepers. Sheesh.
5
A regular flu vaccine really lit up my existing autoimmune disease years ago, so I'm in no hurry to take this rush job for a disease that even my 87 y.o. mother with severe COPD/CHF survived.
5
It is as if they regard their constituents as collections of objects to be used. May they pass from this earth in obscurity and misery.
4
That laughter . . . My first impression was that she used it to stall, so she could think. Or perhaps it was nervous laughter. But watching it tonight I was wondering if it was an organic brain problem. There is a form of inappropriate laughter that people with advancing MS can show, called "pseudobulbar affect ". Just a thought. Whatever the cause, it is repulsive. She is so odd!
4
Not an argument. Just your smelly opinion, unsupported.
4
@SneakyLittleHobbit Good on you. I'm married to an electrical engineer from NOLA. He spent decades testing engines at NASA. Most of our big-brained friends tend to have southern accents for that reason. There are no real aerospace jobs up here in the great white north, sadly. (Maybe our legislators should have worked harder to lure it up north, too)
4
Rubin is a lightweight.
3
@mohammadwasilliterate8037 You must be so proud.
3
Beard use is traditionally a sign of a return to political conservatism.
3
2013: they repealed Smith-Mundt, okaying propaganda.
3
Well said, Wendell! I'm from northern Wisconsin, but I'm married to a southerner, and I feel as if rural Mississippi and Lousiana feel very much like home, because of the fine people there. Much more so than, say, northern California or Minneapolis, Minnesota.
3
Media talking heads are not the Electoral College. Who cares what Ms. Bloody Eye thinks? She's vapid and she's desperate.
2
Who is "they"?
2
Great comment. They put so much energy into showing concern for others--often without consulting their targets, and with very little in the way of results.
2
Drop the word "safe" while you're at it. Safetyism is ridiculous.
2
I think De Santis needs to make Florida a laboratory for freedom, first. I'll vote for DJT again.
2
Get bent, you Aussie freak. You don't know what you're prattling on about.
2
Single-action is for amateurs.
2
I'm down 32 lbs. I prefer to work hard, personally. I'm sure you do, too.
2
I had a professor who was one of Fidel's abogados during the revolution. After the revolution, he almost immediately was jailed and tortured. He spent the rest of his life trying to deprogram young, radical American students. I'll never forget him.
2
Definitely resembles Parkinson's.
2
The spoken word is really Donald Trump, Jr.'s, proper medium. He's quite the bulldog. More power to him. Thanks, Rubin Report, for this interview.
2
Makes me ashamed to have a Greek surname, too.
2
Indeed. I can't believe we held still for the PATRIOT act, torture, and pointless wars. No one has ever said they love the TSA, either.
2
@jenni0278 Old Bugs Bunny meme, misspelling a word that gets censored nowadays on some forums.
2
The ferocity of the groupthink was worse than during the Gulf or Iraq wars. Every nimrod was mouthing the propaganda. I lost respect for way too many people.
