@hh0686 It is confirmed. Olympics need to see the participants nationality and they do so by looking at the passport. You don't have all the facts, what exactly are you objecting about ? What exactly do you want to say?

@hh0686 The whole thing is that Gu and country C went into a dubious arrangements so that Gu can have a Chinese passport to represent C in the winter Olympics. Gu deflected questions on her nationality. But people widely believe she still has her US nationality. This is a controversy as Country C doesn't recognize dual nationality.

@hh0686 No. You are ill informed. Article 3 The People's Republic of China does not recognize dual nationality for any Chinese national.

@hh0686 The word is ANY. Means without exceptions. If they want to provide exceptions, it has to be announced officially or make it a law.
