Gsp was the most athletic, muscular and cut guy in his division during an era when ped use was under less strict testing yet you will rarely see white guys crying about how he was on steroids like they do with Kamaru lol

  18. The way to beat Machida is patience. This is exactly what Jones did. Machida tries to frustrate his opponents with his elusive style and they usually end up making mistakes. Jones stood his ground both rounds and I was very impressed with his striking and intelligence. Machida does this shit to everyone, the different is that Bones capitalized on the few exchanges that he had with Machida.

Stipes resume consists of beating heavyweights on back end of their careers, not being able to finish an inexperienced and fatigued Ngannou, and beating DC twice after he had serious back surgery.

Don't forget that he took plenty of punishment in the fight then got destroyed bin a much dominant fashion when that fighter fixed his cardio and did not underestimate him. Don't forget that Stipe has been finished multiple times while only judges have awarded Francis losses.

Rampage is around the top 5. If Bader beats him and does so convincingly, he deserves another opponent in at least the top 8. Who would you have Machida fight next? If evans wins, I suppose it could be Henderson as Henderson would be really next in line for a shot and he'd need to take another fight if evans wins

Fightmetric totaled that they landed the same amount of strikes in the first round. Lyoto actually NEVER rocked jones. He caught Jones with a straight left, which jones took like a champ, and as jones was backing up he stumbled. He was never rocked. Infact, he was the one moving forward after machida's subsequent striker .were all blocked. Jones is the better striker

He spams a lot of insignificant low leg kicks and plays touch and go. His style is vanilla . I can appreciate technical skills but Gane is as boring as it gets. Can you imagine this guy as the UFC heavyweight champion? Some touch and go guy that calls himself goodboy. I can't imagine anyone wanting to see his title fights. Zzzzzzzz Give me a break.   43. Most powerful is Cosmo Alexandre ko of Sage Northcutt. Sage had to have emergency 9 hour surgery after the punch to save his face. Barred from contact for years after the punch. This is prob second cause it looks like it could snap the neck

  44. @manz92 Machida did put up a great performance,but I don't think he dominated. He had the better of jones striking in the first but Jones had the better of him striking in the second. Fight just shows that Machida is still one of the best out there.

He clinched Machida after the strike, blocked all of machidas strikes after the left and even moved forward towards Machida after the strike.   47. @mvayne80 Jones didn't just have toe strike kicks, he landed a couple good low leg kicks that caugh Machida as Machida was coming in to strike. This was in the first round. That's a good sign of timing and strategy on jones part. It's not idiotic at all to claim that those strikes show that he is the better striker between the two because they were the most significant strikes landed in a fight that did not contain a lot of clean strikes landed, due to both guys defensive skills
