Also Gilbert Burns. Damn that's 7 guys. He's going to have his hands full once he starts facing the top guys at welterweight. They're probably all licking their chops to get their hands on him
1
Fuck your brain. You can't even spell his name right.
1
Yeah, but not many, and you bringing up jds race is nothing as blacks are the most hated on race in the world. Also, none of those other fighters are as outspoken as Jon Jones. Since the early 1900s, loud mouthed black fighters that weren't afraid to speak their mind and oppose societies norms have been getting criticized by the largely white american audience. From Jack Johnson to Muhammed Ali, whites have always fought against iconic black athletes.
1
@mvayne80 There's several things you've said, but the one I'm most curious about is that he doesn't have a good chin. Explain.
1
It was a good stoppage. He took a shot that made him lose equilibrium like when dudes fall from a hard shot, then Francis pushed him back, causing his legs to fold like that. He was dazed and the knee popping caused him to react in pain. I mean if you want to keep the fight going, that's in you but he had a leg injury from the exchange and he was dazed. It's not hard to figure out what was going to happen. The refs are there to protect the fighters.
1
Theyre more likely to overlook cheating when it's a white guy doing it especially against black guy
1
@LuredDecoy lol Next method: attempt to discredit the weight class he fights in.
1
@TheIpwnkyle lol no
1
@weeeek1933 current means everything. If a fighters only top 15 wins are against older/washed fighters no longer in the rankings, that needs to be taken into account when discussing their skills. Saying he smothers people when he's only successfully done that against 1 out the current top 15 and mostly fights washed fighters coming off losses is off. Let's see him smother burbs, Edwards, Khamzat ..etc he never could. Usman landed more strikes than him both fights and had more takedowns.
1
What a great set of fights. Izzy vs Rob, Lewis vs tua, brunson vs cannonier. If you can't get excited for these fights there's something wrong with you. Let's go
1
Yeah by dominating men in the welterweight division of the toughest fighting organization in the world. Why don't you give it a shot since you think what he's doing is so weak and easy
1
@poerava yoel isn't Brazilian. I'm not sure his leg was that bad atleast it did not seem to affect him..sure he lost but Izzy didn't really win either. He lost a lot of stock
1
this dude is a prophet. If you listen to some of the things he says, it's almost as if he sees the future. Some may think I'm being cheesy, but really, everything he has been saying has come true.
1
@billyjean311275 Son, Jones has crushed every wrestler he's faced, though. that's the problem. He has NEVER been taken down. But you're right, The only question left about Jones is how he does off his back. He has answered that he isn't just hype, he's shown that he has a chin and can handle anversity, he's shown that he is very patient and is calculated in his offense. the only real unknown about jones right now is how he'd do off his back. If he subs Rashad off his back WTF now?
1
Usman was always humble
1
@ninog9737 i wouldn't give khamzat credit for going through with it because that's really the easier move. If he didn't go through with it his reputation and stock would take a massive hit. It's almost like he didn't have a choice but to accept especially when his fans and Usman haters have been calling for this fight for years and saying that Usman would never fight him is scared of him.
1
@ninog9737 Usman would have been announced as a possible replacement just like chael sonnen was announced as a possible replacement for Jon to fight. We knew about Chael possibly stepping in before Jon accepted so why wouldn't we have known about Usman being a possibility especially now a days where everything gets out? Part of khamzat fame and popularity is that he's willing to fight anyone at anytime . If he backs out against Usman his reputation would take a hit. It's unbelievable that you don't understand this and I had to type all this out for you. People are dumb as hell.
1
@ninog9737 what's the relevance of the fight being cancelled in this conversation? It's irrelevant The entire argument is that him not taking the fight would be the harder thing to do because people would know that there was a replacement and that he turned them down. Your rebuttal to that was that the event would just be cancelled and no one would know Usman was a possible replacement. You can't even follow a conversation dude. O
1
@ninog9737 he's not getting credit because he really doesn't have a choice and it's the easier thing to do in this situation. Not taking the fight he loses money and also takes a massive hit in his reputation. He has no choice but to go along with the fight. I hope your IQ is high enough to eventually figure things out.
1
@ninog9737 funny you think I'm likely bad at chess. I'd likely crush you. I have an all time high rating of 2147 bullet on lichess and my blitz and rapid is at the same level . I've beaten players ranked 2200 over the board. It's funny you think no one would know that Usman was a potential opponent if khamzat turned down the fight when the very example were talking about everyone knew that chael was a rumored replacement even though Jon turned down the fight. So your statement that no on would have known Usman was a replacement is false. The ufc and Dana will also say if there were replacements. There's little difference between people seeing official documents that Usman was the replacement and people assuming it based on circumstantial evidence and strong rumors. The result is the same that his reputation would take a massive hit. Colby saying that people are afraid bro fight him isn't the same as rumor and word coming from ufc and people in charge that usman was a replacement. Even with Colby, a lot of people believe what he said and the reputation of those fighters took a hit. Think about how many people believed that Usman was ducking Colby the first two fights. It led to the hate against Usman piling on. Me saying that he'd lose money is not short term. Thinking about one loss is short term thinking. Being known as a duck and a fraud would make him less marketable than losing one fight against a goat opponent. It's not a short term thing either. People's reputation carries on for a long time.
1
@ninog9737 you're the one incapable of looking forward. If he fights there's a chance he wins. If he ducks the fight there's no chance. It's that he ducked Usman and isn't what he says he is. He is then seen as a fraud. Also him losing money is not a short term thing. It's long term. His stock will never be as high if he ducked the fight. It was an easier decision for him just to go along with it, preserve his reputation and have a chance to beat a goat fighter than duck the fight, lose money and time and miss out on having a guy like Usman on his resume. You're the one that's awful at chess and strategy.
1
@ninog9737 I never said that Paulo dropping out would hurt khamzats rep. I did say that him refusing to fight Usman in this situation would hurt his rep and stock. I knew you'd compare what happened to Jon with khamzat, but here's why it's different. Jon was already a champion with multiple defenses and he wasn't popular off an image of fighting anyone and fighting anytime like khamzat. His reputation did take a hit from ducking chael on short notice but the difference is that Jon was already hated at that point and wasn't loved like khamzat. There was a lot more that people hated Jon for than the sonnen incident so it was just another piece of trash in the garbage pile. Khamzat is loved right now and that can change from love to hate real quick. Khamzat is a fairly young fighter who isn't as established as Jon so his stock can drop quicker due to actions and decisions he makes . For example look at his level of popularity before and after the Gilbert burns fight. It was night and day. When you are young in your career fans can quickly turn on you. Also khamzats popularity and reputation is mostly based on being a tough guy that will fight anyone at anytime. He's like a gimmick right now. If it's known that he ducked a tough fight in Usman for easier fight he'd lose a lot of fans and that thing that makes him so popular and different. I'm not a khamzat hater at all. I like the guy I just think that him choosing to go through with fighting Usman is the easier choice than NOT fighting him. You keep talking about him possibly losing to Usman but you fail to realize that he can also beat Usman and beating Usman would raise his stock and popularity much more than ducking the fight and beating a lesser opponent. There's more to gain from taking the fight and more to lose from not taking it. A loss to a welterweight goat doesn't hurt khamzat legacy like being known as a duck and a fraud.
1
anways, hell of a fight. Both guys did really well. Machida outstruck jones in rd 1, jones outstruck and outwrestled machida in rd 2. No one can hold their head down. Both were awesome.
1
All of this is true, but you've gotta understand that mma fans are a different breed of weird than the other populations of society.
1
Never wanted to see someone lose more than this piece of trash.
1
@dirtydan3842 Tom Brady was fighting with a broken nose. He needs to get his nose situation figured out like Dominik Reyes does. Having constant breaks will destroy his potential as a fighter. His nose been crooked for several years now.
1
@dirtydan3842 allowed him to breathe better. Dude could barely breathe against Chiesa. Breathing through his mouth
1
@Crysisplaya his hands were not fine up till the fight. He wasn't throwing his right hand up till fight night because of the injury.
1
@2kmichaeljordan438 because it seems he is implying a hook up which is disrespectful
1
@CYB3R2K30 shadow realm also refers to mortal kombat
1
@CYB3R2K30 you're right.
1
@Onlybadtakes2589 A
1
@zCopyCatz not really
1
Everytime a white fighter loses they say the opponent is on peds, meanwhile tyson fury has world class cardio as a fatty and they dont say anything about it. Go figure
1
@mvayne80 Jones himself said that he was taking his time to get a feel of Machida's timing and movement. Again, more bullshit from you.
1
@craven4bmore709 it doesn't pile up ws against current top 15 welterweights where Masvidal that was broken by Usman is his only win.
1
@craven4bmore709 😆 Lawler was on multiple fight skid and got sonned by Neil Magny his next fight worse than what Colby did to him. Lol at considering that a good win at that stage in Robbie's career where he could have lost to every guy in the top ten . Colby fans with the fake news
1
A lot of "fans" want quiet fighters, it seems, unless you are white and then you can be cocky and not get criticism for it. It's almost like they want to feel some connection to the fighter. A fighter that makes it seem like he is no different than the general public person makes "fans" more comfortable. A fighter that seems unbeatable and is outspoken about their talents makes people uneasy because people seem to fear highly successful people that dont make them feel all warm and cosy.
1
James Franko Joanna is the longer fighter. Wouldn't surprise me
1
There's multiple sides of people. He has a competitive side. I don't even think he talks trash he just keeps it real
1
@lemonpaid not really man.. you He's pretty consistent and objective. Backs up what he says. Contrast it to jorge, colby , woodley who are fàke as hell and aren't objective. Green panty was one line that was a wordplay joke and mma weirdos that like to dissect his personality went ham over it lol you guys let askren, colby and jorge frame how you think about this guy. Literally everything haters say online are things those three say. Mas releases a flawed video saying he has multiple personalities, like who doesn't? Mas himself does. And that video makes idiots think so. Conor releases tweet and everyone says usman steals lines lol you guys are sheep it's so funny. I do like how there's a segment that hate on him because we'll see how wrong you guys are over time
1
For real. They are a like a tribe
1
This just makes me want to see Rashad get knocked out even more. Any black guy that would try to diss another black man's speech as being "white" is a uncle tom. If you're black, you shouldn't be rooting for Rashad. He's a clown.
1
@mvayne80 The stats are straight from fightmetric, which is the official statistics provider of the UFC.
1
@SeNs3NoEviL Rashad is a bitch. Look at this fight with Thiago Silva. the whole fight he did nothng but wrestle. He only attempted 4 gnp strikes and got clowned in the 3rd rnd.
1
There's a pic of him deadlifting 5 huge plates on each side. That pic gives good definition of just how strong he is. His arm strength and traps are ridiculous.
1
Israel isn't really deadly. All he does is standup every fight. Limited mma fighter. No takedowns.
1
@The_AoEII ok he's a deadly fighter but compared to guys like usman, jones and khabib he's not that dangerous and good. I wish he'd use takedowns more and was more varied in his approach. It's like a grappler that only tries to grapple and the only thing hell do with strikes is to block them. The submission attempt on Kelvin was neat though. When an opponent is able to just stand there in front of you with their guard up and you can't capitalize on it, then you know your offensive arsenal is limited. Fighters that are able to attack you with striking and grappling are more dangerous than specialists
1
@The_AoEII you're asking me what I'm saying while saying that Izzy beat Usman when they've never fought. Weird guy you are
1
Thanks for exposing what you are. I applaud you. At least you're not like the tons of white fans out there that make up bs reasons for why they hate jon jones just so they can hide the true reasons. You're a racist like a lot of the fans that hate him. At least you're honest about it.
