You just have to have enough to where you can say he had a long enough reign. So to me 5 vs 9 is not a deciding factor. A deciding factor, and one that never gets mentioned by GSPs fanboys, is that GSP lost twice in welterweight title fights while Kamaru is undefeated in his career at welterweight. He has the longest winning streak in welterweight division history and he's about to have the longest winning streak in overall in UFC history. No, I'm sorry you don't get to be the welterweight goat when that guy exists and you tapped to a 5'6 midget.

He has no submission wins while Ngannou has more submission wins than a lot of heavyweights. Ngannou also has better ground defense. He survived 5 rounds vs stipe ground game in the first fight while Sergei got gnpd to a stoppage against overeem of all people. Then there's the fact that ngannou has shown the ability to use his grappling advantageously while Sergei hasn't. Just say you're a fanboy of Sergei and move on.

  11. @LilBlacJac510 That's way too far of a step back for a guy that gave Jones his toughest fight. If he's third in line, he needs to beat someone that's coming off a streak of wins or someone hot. Griffin hasn't been in the picture in a while. He just got tkod by Shogun and hasn't really looked that good recently. Shogun just came off a beating against Henderson and looks to be declining. Also if Henderson fights the winner of Evans vs Davis, then who will Jones fight next?

Saying jones had no answer for Machida's karate blitz would imply that Machida continued with the flurry and tkod jones. That's not the case. Jones clinched Machida, and blocked everything besides the left. That's an answer right there. Again, keep spewing bullshit.

  24. Jones is very outspoken and honest. In recent fights, against Ryan Bader and Shogun, he talked about how he felt he'd win because he felt he was stronger, faster than his opponent. He also questioned Shogun's heart leading up to the fight. All this talk caused a lot of fans that are supposedly viewers of one of the most brutal sporting events in the world into a bunch of soft, whinny girls. From around that point people have carried a weird hatred over this guy.

The hate he gets really reminds me of Tim Tebow's hate. People hate on Tebow because to them he acts as if he is better than others and he is very open about his religious.   41. Izzy with some nice bball skills. Izzy is a cool guy but his recent fights have been boring. I hate his mentality that the challenger has to bring the fight and win it. I think this might be one of his better fights though because styles and I even think personalities make fights. Izzy and Jared have very interesting and philosophical personalities this can be a fun fight. 😎

He'd smash Vera, Mat and Hammil and people were still saying he was nothign but hype and that he'd never beat Shogun. He smashes Shogun and people come up with every excuse in the book. He beats Rampage and people aint impressed, and all we hear for months is how he's only winning because of his physicality. Soon, people will realize that kid aint going nowhere.

LHW is the best division in the ufc. Not only do you have an unbeatable champion, but from spots 1-10 you have guys capable of being the champion if not for Jon Jones.
