@jeffreygenius1622 are they the only ones that got caught ? Apparently it doesn't matter if you get caught as guys like Usman, Izzy and Francis are guilty without any positive tests .
1
@jeffreygenius1622 lol no one said francis. Tons of people have called him out for being on peds. Look at one of his tweets with picture of with Usman on Twitter . Guy in comment section posting that they're steroid brothers. It's funny how much you guys lie. I made a post about that that keeps getting deleted interestingly enough 🤔
1
Usman is a monster that takes guys will for an entire fight. Masvidal is getting big headed and i can't think of a better fighter to humble him thsn kamaru
1
@jiggermanfishing Gustaffson is an up and coming lhw fighter that with a win against Mat, should be ready to face a higher profile opponent. Bader is in the same boat if he beats Rampage. Only way Machida faces winner of Davis/Evans is if Davis wins, in which case I think they give Dan Henderson the title fight. Then maybe match Machida with Davis and Gustaffson vs Bader if they both win.
1
@mvayne80 I don't have much time today to go back and forth, but the cain fight aint even close to what happened ni jones fight. Cain fight was close to getting stopped. Jones never left his feet and blocked every single strike that machida threw after the initial punch. How the fuck was he hurt? Also, unlike the cain fight, Jones did not spam takedowns. He continued to strike with MAchida and was the one pressing the action. Stop reaching.
1
Jones has a lethal straight right hand. This was no fluke. He has kod guys before with the same punch. Watch his fight with Parker Porter, same exact punch. He rocked Shogun with straight rights along the cage and kod Carlos Eduardo and Moyses Gabin with rights. Machida wanted to duel off with jones in the end and payed for it. He should have just tried to stick and move the fuck out of the way. hats off to both fighters for a hell of a fight.
1
@TheBearGrappler funny thing is that Anderson Silva mocked his opponents during fights and was a showboat. You guys don't even think when you make up fake reasons why you dislike Usman
1
@oussama1149 when you are a dominant black fighter insecure white boys will make stuff up to hate on you
1
Define Jon Jones: MMA God and an inspiration to many
1
There's a punch that he hits Cain with in that flurry they snapped his neck sbd caused him to do the splits, thus injuring his knee. I think it was impressive when you consider that he caused him to fall like that sbd hurt his knee from the punch sbd the way he contorted his body in the flurry .
1
Damn I've never seen Kamaru this heated. Even going into this fight with Burns he had a silent killer vibe like the staredown pre fight and even he got in gilbert's face after the second round. That was some dark stuff . And this interview. He's on a dark tangent. Turning into a real nightmare
1
well said.
1
Jon Jones haters make themselves look bad. If you look at the comments of a lot of them, they are often stupid, immature, disrespectful individuals. Why would anyone want to have them as fans? They say real recognizes real. Jones is too real for the dumb, fake mma whiteboy fans.
1
@kinantantjiptawirawan1326 gane isn't known as a power puncher though. He rarely puts people out with single strikes so your point is illogical
1
This guy had the talent and marketability to be a huge star.
1
@meandmyrecords5481 I was already invested in the fight. If anything he makes fights unpleasant. I much more liked the build up of Burns vs Usman over this trash.
1
You see, I hang off your every reply because it's fun to expose how much of an idiot you are with every dumb remark you make. It actually makes my day to be able to enjoy such comedy from the comforts of my computer.
1
People have tried leg kick approach. Gilbert was countered several times attempting leg kicks including the jab that dropped him. Mas got taken down trying one. His counter game off kicks is good and his legs are not as fragile as he makes it seem or that they look.
1
@mvayne80 I think he moved backwards because Machida swarms in with a flurry of strikes. Would you have liked him to remain stationary and eat punches like Rashad did? I don't think he was rocked at all, but you admit that he recovered well. So, even if you believe he was rocked, with the speed that he recovered, which was almost instant, I don't see how that is indicative of having a so so chin. I'll say he doesn't have a good chin when I see him actually hurt by a punch.
1
I feel the same. Hes got rare talent he has ability to be the best fighter ever. That finishing ability is rare on top of that he is good grappling abd has submissions. He needs to work on cardio and getting better with fight IQ through experience
1
Give him Bones already. Stop protecting him. Jones fought Shogun on short notice. Don't get why people keep wanting to protect this kid.
1
@shogun123442 He isn't the best striker in the world, I don't think, but he has proven to be a better striker than Rampage, Shogun and Machida. That's all. There are absolutely NO facts that support an argument that Machida is the better striker based on his fight with Jones. Also, both fighters weighed in at 205.
1
@mvayne80 Jon Jones didn't do much the first round, but from a gameplan standpoint, it was the right thing to do when going up against a guy like Machida that requires patience in order to get to him. However, as for what he landed in the first round, Jones actually had a couple of decent low leg kicks. He had a couple of kicks that caught Machida as Machida was coming in to attempt strikes. He caught Machida off balance, there.
1
@shogun123442 A guy that handidly beat 3 of the top 5 guys that most mma fans considered to be the top 5 fighters of all time in the division is not overrated.
1
@shojo8708 no. I probably should have but that fight didn't do it for me. Maybe it's cause Zhang is from China...first Chinese champ and seems so legit also Joanna is a bad ass girl that talks mad shit m. Im hyped for this
1
@Curt542 Lyoto fans are in denial just like Shogun's fans. Think of how many excuses were made for Shogun after he was embarassed by Jones. It's no difference in this fight. people will always try and find ways to not give Jones credit for the things that he does. It shows how pathetic society is.
1
I think part of it is to add more fear for his future oppononents. They dont want to turn out like that
1
@mvayne80 they both missed by a mile with a lot of strikes. People forget that Machida and Jones are the two best defensive fighters in the division. I knew it would be a good fight because both guys are really good tacticians and are very creative with their attack. Machida's next fight should be against either the winner of the bader and gustaffson fights. He's third in line for a title shot behind rashad and dan henderson.
1
The hate is making him a stronger person. He is a good role model for kids.
1
JJ is a scary woman.
1
He is. Good sense of humor, easy going and has a positive vibe. Introspective and we'll spoken. We just have a bunch of askren, colby and masvidal fans that flood his videos comment sections
1
This boy is nasty
1
Francis is technical as well. Thats what people overlook
1
Another thing about Bones is that the kid speaks the truth. Things he says get people riled up, but when you look back at it, nearly everything he has said he has done. When he said he'd be too new school and fast for Shogun people wanted to crucify him, but then he went out and did exactly that to Shogun. I really don't think it's so much disrespect with this kid, but more so the kid is so confident in his abilities that it's almost like he has a third eye to what he can do
1
The difference is that ngannou has never been finished or knocked down by strikes while pavlovich has. Sergei doesn't have the same chin and toughness as Ngannou
1
What else was he supposed to do, coddle him? It was the end of the fight, the ref signalled for him to seperate himself from Machida and in cases where a fighter might be injured, fighters are told to go to the corner and allow the proper handlers..ie ring doctors, to watch over the fighter. Again, Jon Jones cannot control what greg jackson says. I don't think jones needs to be humble and that if he shows a lot of confidence that it makes him a bad person.
1
Welterweight has so much talent guys can go on losing streaks. Look at Woodley. From multiple times defending champion to not being able to win a round against usmans generation of fighters
1
that's not true at all. Jones has always said that he loves martial arts and it's his calling in life. It seems like a lot of people that hate on jones don't know what the hell they're talking about. They just make stuff up.
1
Mma fans dont get behind black fighters like that. If he were white hed be hyped like khamzat
1
@extramile.5yago not really as big of a star as youd expect. Jones was never most popular as far as ppv sales. Majority white Ufc fans have always gotten more excited for white fighters
1
@sketch3744 that's exactly how injuries work. The more broken down your body is, the more chance it has to get injured doing something like jumping and landing.
1
@sketch3744 you're likely to have a concussion falling and bumping your head. The head is not meant to take falls like that. Your legs and ankles are able to take impact of jumps. There is no landing incorrect. Like what lol. You act like Israel doesn't know how to jump and land. That's a simple thing to do and if he hurts himself doing that he was likely injured beforehand .
1
@ware_fly7498 yet 100 percent of the fighters fans on the internet accuse of being on steroids are black
1
@mvayne80 I think people get so caught up in style and supposed technique rather than results. To me, results are the most telling sign of a fighters skill. All the results as far as striking point to jones being the better striker. He landed more strikes, had better striking percentage, had the only strike that resulted in a knockdown, won both striking exchages that happened in the fight. There is really nothign you can point to stat wise that shows Machida is the better striker
1
these two guys seem perfect for each other the student and the master. They both seem real in touch with spirituality and psychology. The more I see Jones striking, the more he looks like a throwback to those old martial arts flicks where this master would confuse and destory people with abstract strikes. Jones is really and true martial "artist"
1
Exactly. MMA fans keep making themselves look bad. Calling a professional fighter a fagget, really?
1
Yo, That dude Lensengoku is an awesome striker. I fought him before in ea sports mma. This dude knows what he talking about. Machida aint land shit but one solid, clean strike against jones in the 1st round, homies, Jones won both striking exchanges, where both guys were swining at the same time, in the second round, tagging Machida with a overhand right just before taking him down and dropping him to the floor with a superman punch from southpaw. Jones is the better striker.
1
Why? It will likely be Usmans next fight after Edwards
1
To me, this is the greatest mma fight as far as the talent of both fighters and the style they posses. Both fighters have been considered at one point to be unbeatable. I watched rewatched Machida's first fight against Shogun and I think he clearly won the fight. I didn't see his loss against Rampage so I can't comment on that fight. But, you've got a guy in jones that's never lost and then there's Machida, who many thing only has one real loss and that came by a flash ko punch.
1
Those ears are from wrestling. They're called cauliflower ears. Look it up. It's not from getting beaten and a lot of fighters don't have them
