@mmafyasco Jones is fighting a lot better competition than those guys hve fought. Literally Shogun and Rampage were in a lot of peoples top 4 light heavyweights of all time. It was Shogun, Wanderlei Silva, Rampage and Chuck Lideell. Those were everyones top 4 and Jones murdered 2 of the and beat Machida, who could beat Chuck and Wanderlei. That is more of an accomplishment in 1 year than anything Silva, Gsp or Aldo have done.

From the Woodley fight to predicting how first Colby fight would go, that he's finish masvidal and his comments about he and Burns were spot on. One thing he keeps mentioning is Leon's heart. He also said that 30 more seconds in the first fight that he would have finished Leon. He says he will finish Leon this time around. I'm curious to see if he backs it up again.

I related so much with him and seen a lot of the racial hate and bias he gets. I look up to this guy and he was like a brother to me . I don't even know him but I love the guy and cried that he lost. Sports are bull because you can't control it and you live through teams and athletes. Usman didn't deserve that after all the bias and hate he's received man. What trash.

Everything a limited fighter would have done . Guys like Usman and khabib would have been attempting takedowns and using the clinch, pressing the action. It's mma but all Izzy does is strike and defensive grappling

It's true. There's a huge amount of racists within the mma community. Think about history of the ufc. The ufc was built on white stars like Chuck Liddel, Randy Couture, Matt Hughes..etc. The average mma fan is a white male 18-34. They latched onto those guys and hate to see a guy like Jon Jones taking over a sport that was called a white man's sport. The level of hate jon jones gets is way overboard and speaks of there being a lot of personal emotions that go into it.

Basing an argument on why you think a guy is overrated by things you think he could or could not do in a hypothetical setting is a WEAK foundation for an argument. Basically, Jones is too good and some people have a hard time accepting it, so they look for every single reason to discredit him.

I'd define Jon Jones as a trailblazer. So many people bag on his confident attitude, but I applaud it. I applaud anyone that thinks highly of themselves and pushes the boundaries of what they can accomplish while trying to be a positive role model for kids. What I can't applaud are the "adults" out there that hang on every little word this kid says and try to tear him down.

@libbad7419 the biggest cheaters are the ones that try to act most innocent and go unnoticed. Usman has way bigger target on him so its way more likely if anyone was getting away with cheating its Colby. He fights less often so he gets tested less often and fights at a way more frenetic pace than usman.

@bucvet1979 Another thing. Both Rampage and Machida put in more time, effort and money into their training camps against jones than they did against any other opponent and they still got choked. Shogun said he was in the best shape of his life leading up to his fight with jones, and look what happened to him. It's gotta be really dismaying to jones future opponents to think that guys put in their maximum effort and received nothing but a choke as gratitude. Bones is becoming scary
