  1. I was raised in a moderate Christian community in one of the Nordic countries, and sticks with me about what we were taught about Jesus Christ was his humility and compassion for everyone. I found the Bible otherwise mostly being about selfishness and even outright cruelty, with compassion curiously absent. Needless to say, since I grew up I have become a least an Agnostic, even an Atheist.
