  1. Having followed US politics for some decades, I have long ago realized that the US has NEVER been a true democracy. It has always been a paradise for the rich and influential (male landowners), and while minorities like women and non-whites have had an elevated position for almost a century, that is about to end. For over 40 years, the US has been a cesspool of political bribery and corruption, and that state of affairs is about to culminate in a disaster.
