  1. Having for most of my life admired America and everything 'Murican, I am seriously disillusioned these days! I have a morbid interest in how the US is disintegrating, with racial issues being decisive factors. Listening to the interview with Prof. John A. Powell left me perplexed - I hardly comprehended a word he said! English may only be my third language, but I pride myself with being fairly competent. Even so, this particular word salad was beyond me. Is he trying to impress one particular group of people or is he simply disconnected from the plight of everyday minority-race Americans? Whatever the reason, I found this particular interview particularly uninteresting. I may be unfamiliar with the history of US racism, but this left me uninterested...
