We need to sack parliament and build a bigger mare inclusive and representative system like most of the rest of the western world have.

  18. Please turn the gain down on your mic. Or just get a better mic. A large diaphragm condenser ideally, with a cardioid pickup pattern. This will focus on you and not your room. It should be difficult to make any 100 quid mic distort. If you need help let me know. Your audio quality IS FAR BELOW your worth, Philip.

  47. Other than answering the question about Graham’s continuing pride and hairline battle, I hope your feet are better soon. As for a location recording device the Zoom H1 or H2 is a good start.

  48.  @ADifferentBias  ok so the Zoom H4 pro or Tascam DR-40X can record from the built in mics for ambience as well as two mics plugged in to it. Stand-alone battery powered units, recording straight to SD card. They’re the easiest for you to be portable with and not too technical, I think. There’s bigger ones with more mic inputs if you need more but they start getting a bit unwieldy.
