There wasn't supposed to a be a stalemate, but as it turns out Ukraine simply doesn't have the strength to reclaim the 1991 border. Well, nothing came out of it it seems like. Perhaps it will dawn on them eventually that demanding Russia's unconditional surrender is not going to get them anywhere.
