The reason some do sink is exactly because they are old. Only a small problem normally. The real problem is the failure to deliver on time, fire at sea, oil spills, there are many things that can go very wrong without sinking. An old ship isn't usually a bad thing. It can be a disaster if not maintained. An oil terminal wants it product on time. Scheduling, futures prices, yada, yada. One major problem & whatever port will allow the russians in, will close quick.
2
Give Ukraine the long range stuff. Who cares what russia threatens? Chuckles the Tsar has threatened to attack everyone when he feels the slightest breeze across his face. Only calming down when the Kremlin doctors change out his colostomy bag. LOL!! Nobody care what the little freak says he will do.
2
So . . . In short, what will one impotent, decrepit country do to help another? I'm sure someone is interested. Probably even gives some Ukrainian military planner fits. Most of us see the dealings of Blyatistan & Blyatistan Minor as not having much impact on the war at all. The old border guard Lukashenko is already making motions to distance himself from involvement.

There are certain type of battle that tanks are critical. Plowing into an enemies fortifications for example. Exactly what they plan to do in the near future. They have worked out some novel approaches to it in case the tanks weren't forthcoming like last month. One system they are about to learn about is the Bradley IFV. In the last major tank battle years ago it wasn't all the Western tank destroying the opposition. It was the Bradley & it can remove entrenched troops as well. It is a beast & completely different from the russian counterparts.
2
@cluelessjoe5745 I heard it was Super Soldier blood serum developed in the US & injected in the Ukrainian troop . . . No, I'm sure it must be that. LOL!!
2
Меня всегда удивляло, что тролли продолжают выкладывать эту чепуху, когда она, вероятно, будет удалена до того, как их обработчик заплатит им за комментарий. Report these lies to YouTube for deletion. If you don't know how, just ask.
2
I would agree to a point. But that is a pretty harsh stance considering many (maybe millions) might starve.
2
The newscaster is a bit off. Probably 45 to 60 of those troops are a marine detachment to guard the embassy in Kyiv. Making a story out of a mole hill. LOL!! I'm a bit surprised at DW which is normally beyond sensationalizing stories. Whatever troops are not in such a detachment are liaisons to NATO & advisors. There is probably little in the way of training. They might be some 'training the trainers'. A case where there is much ado about nothing.
2
It would be nice for a change, to see the Orcs hit just one military target.
2
@buildmotosykletist1987 I have no problem with opposing view at all.
2
Only the misinformation. That is why that option is there.
2
Poor Sergey. One of the real joker cards in the Orc government deck of cards. Might be a good idea to fade into the background while in Turkey. Maybe some country would take you in as a defector.
2
Lavrov is good as a reverse barometer. If he says something, the reverse must be the truth. He is good for a laugh now & then. Gotta give him his due. It's pretty bad when you take the the concept of politician/diplomat down several notches. I really don't think he would know the truth if it hit him in the butt with a balalaika. LOL!!
2
China steps in to stop a humanitarian disaster from going further (i.e. It's friend with no limits from losing worse) when China can't solve it's own humanitarian disasters within it's own borders is a bit self-important thinking isn't it? Or maybe a bit like the axiom 'The blind leading the blind'. More accurately how one leper colony shows another how to be less of a pariah? If I were russia, I would take their advice. You know . . . In case China wants to invade & occupy Primorsky Krai like the threatened in 2021. Getting my pop corn ready to watch the show as Orclandia starts to scurry around trying to make things work, some how . . . Some way.
2
@bolatsabikhan8127 It is pity party putin getting his bottom spanked by what was (not likely for long now) the poorest nation in Europe. With only a little help from their friends. Chuckles the Tsar knows this is total embarrassment losing & not being able to sway China to help. LOL!! Good fairy tale you tell though.
2
If Putin gets his nose 'bloodied' enough, he will stop.
2
@HumanBeingsRThinkingBeings For a Thinking Being, you certainly miss a lot of the salient details that change the whole argument . . . Orc troll/bot parading around like a Thinking Being equals? Empty-headed arguments presented as comparisons, maybe? LOL!!
2
@GwynBleys I think they mean that russia may come down so hard from this defeat, it will never threaten anyone again. When it is made public in russia this was all Ukraine (with some weapons from friends), it might shatter into 15 to 20 new countries. Not like the sham repulics in 1994 but real independent countries. None of them likely to be called russia, or orclandia for that matter.
2
It is likely half the 31 are sitting ready for shipping to Eygpt. Which has ordered the exact same thing. Maybe the last will be delivered in August but it is quite possible they will get some sooner. And the Bradley they are getting is a very efficient 'tank killer'. Much more safe & more firepower than the BMP's they are used to. 😁
2
@mankindly9562 Ukraine needs long lasting peace. Not the kind of temporary stuff they have been getting at peace talks. I think the AFU is negotiating with the Orc very well right now. Promises peace for a very long time.
2
@chrisczarnik3439 No one is scared of putin. But they are having back channel talks with russia about nuclear arms reduction & I think they are scared of upsetting those talks. This has been reported by several publications but not much is known other than that.
2
@chrisczarnik3439 Even though these are significant reductions, I think there is too much 'diplomacy' going on. It shouldn't involve helping Ukraine but it does of course.
2
OH!! I see all the Russian trolls have been marked for deletion in here. Can't even see what they posted now. What the world will do is really the question. Demand to do what is right? Or do what is convenient & will get back to business as usual so we can ignore world events again.
2
Most high government officials & rich oligarchs have children in European finishing schools. So no call up for them. Many regions have already been bled dry. So it might be from the larger cities & regions not touched this time around. And because of mobilization, only now do they protest. Great moral compass they use.
2
All HAIL!! The mighty toilet-toting russian army!! The second (worst) army of the world!! May their garden gnome leader fight USA, NATO, People of Middle Earth, Time Travelers from the Future, People of Atlantis, The Sith, & all other powers set against Orclandia!! They must fight on against all enemies real & imagined to hastened the break up of the russian federation afterwards!! Even if putin's grave is spat on for generations to come!
2
These are dangerous times with threats from many directions. Japan may not like the idea of peace through strength, but it does seem to work. Only countries that appear weak seem to be the ones endangered. With russia crumbling & China not far behind, maybe some day we can ease up.
2
Easy to reveal a russian troll . . . Get them to talk and watch their noses get longer? LOL!!
2
@coreyham3753 They like using misnomers. LOL!!
2
It occurs to me the Russians shouldn't be so worried if it was Ukraine. But was it relatives of those gone off to war that died. If the latter, Russia can stop worrying about Ukraine. That will quickly become a back-water problem for them. Congrats on your certificate of 'truth telling' from the Russian government. 😁
2
I wonder if YT communities understand they are paying troll/bots extra by arguing with them. Most have to post @ 120 comments a day for less than $500 a month. But some lucky ones can get on a contract where each time they get a response, they get extra. The best way is to not say a thing & report them to YT. 4 or 5 reports will get it removed and they don't get credit at all if their handler doesn't see their post. Just thought you might want to know.
2
The German Chancellor calling for a cease fire won't mean much when Ukraine demands a pull back to at least the 2014 borders. They might demand a pull out of all of Ukraine to 2013 borders or no call for a cease fire will be taken seriously. I won't assume any set of conditions they make for a cease fire. That is entirely up to Ukraine. From a Russian point of view, it wouldn't hurt to ask Ukraine just to see what their demands are. But I doubt Russia is to the point they would except. Only a matter of time though. And winter is not far away with ill equipped Russian troops.
2
Looks like the DW community is falling down again. If a troll has their comment stay up for an hour or two, they will likely be paid. Argue with them if you want to, but make sure to report to YouTube also.
2
Just in response to your thumbnail for this video. 'Is Russia lying about it's economy' . . . I'm trying to recall anything recently they haven't lied about. I don't think they are headed back to Soviet 'barter trade' economics of the 70's but it is being set back rapidly. The troll/bots a few months ago showed how misunderstood economics is. A strong ruble of 50 to the $ is the last think you want in times of declining exports. LOL!! Watch other indicators for clues.
2
@bw6524 😁
2
@SubvertTheState They tried peace talks with russia in 1994 & 2014. If anything, negotiating with russia just leads to more brutal attacks later on. Time for a different way to stop Blyatistan's aggression!
2
This will be fun to watch over the next few months & years. These companies & oil customers playing russian like a drum! Decrepit tankers shooting up in price with russia being charged even more. No one will lease, so russia has to buy them outright. Then no company will insure them (many ships uninsurable anyway). Very few ports will allow them to enter. Then russia scrambles to off load to legit tankers for the gray market until they are tracked & hit with secondary sanctions. Then russian finding out they don't need a whole fleet of tankers for the gray market, can't sell the extras now. Countries bleeding them for the last discounted barrel, then kicking russia to the curb like the rest of the world. Think I will get my popcorn for this one!
2
Moon Dog '"There are no secondary sanctions for Russian oil' There will be sanctions if not outright seizure of assets for any company dealing with gray market oil.
2
@paulzx5034 That's alright. Your English is good enough. And much of what you say is true. Not like a lot of the Chinese bots in here. You might want to use some other phrase than 'safe backdoor to each other'. It could be confused with 'screwing each other over'.
2
@skitpare2627 He/She decided to join putin's freak show so they could switch from villas in Miami to villas in Tel Aviv.
2
Ukraine tries (or may try) to kill little boy putin? Well there's a shocker for ya. LOL!! News Flash!! They may try to assassinate Medvedev & Shoigu too. If russian partisans or Oligarchs don't get there first. Chuckles the Tsar may have 'stubbed a toe' on his special military blunder. I'm sure he will figure a way out of this. He is, after all, a military, economic, & diplomatic genius. Maybe he could go bunk with his new best buddy Kim in the DPRK!
2
@mkodyglobalsouthsoldier Sure, Buddy. Whatever you say. Extra war within a war. Kinda like when pity-party putin said he hasn't started anything serious yet?
1
'Edgy' film making. LOL!!!
1
@arikauraniemi9383 My thinking too. But you can only stretch 18 of them out so far. They will need more to cover each other on a broad front.
1
Well I see the usual suspects are back as trolls. You know you can stop the lies by reporting them as misinformation. That is why YouTube has that option.
1
@wesc6755 It is hitting russia with their weapons that is off limits. Ukraine has already attacked russia & sent special forces across the border. I think it is still silly but there is no limits for Ukraine to attack russian soil except with the West's weapons.
1
@lawrencekling8598 Donor country is one that gives aid. Like partner country or allied country.
1
@lawrencekling8598 😁
1
I suspect the batteries may be crewed by westerners. There is too much super secret stuff on them. It is possible they might strip all that off for Ukraine's use. I don't know how much can be removed. It would be a shame to have the first non Ukrainians in combat on their side. It kinda 'cheapens' their victory when it comes. But I think they will do what is right. And russia already says they are fighting NATO.
1
They are anti-russian? Well DUH!! Wait 'til your good buds, Iran, DPRK, & Belarus drop you. What will Lavrov say that anyone would believe anyway? You would think he would take the hint when the UN walked out on him. LOL!!! And Lavrov holds a press conference to . . . Calls name & stomp his feet like some petulant child that hasn't gotten his way. No surprises.
1
@wendiepayne1455 Yes. This community isn't very good at reporting & having them deleted. I think people just come here to watch the video. Maybe comment & that's about it. (shruggs)
