@bartandaelus359 The Bradley has faced T-72s before in large number & did a very good account. Actually knocked more out that the main battle tanks. And please don't bring up 'Ukraine isn't Iraq' argument. The numbers could easily be applied.

OH!! Airlines slowing down? Trains with all sorts of problems since Seimens left russia. Automotive that cost 2 to 3 times more with a lack of spare parts. You know . . . It is a long way across russian in an ox cart.
1
@abb7118 Sorry about all your previous posts. I should feel ashamed but strangely I'm not.
1
@CGplay186 Fundamentally I have to disagree with your reasoning but I will agree on one point . . . We do have millions starving every year no matter what is going on in the world. I think surpluses will be released from around the world, and there will be no difference this year. Price of grain will go up is about it.
1
@irvinmcb You are putting an awful lot of faith in russian nukes considering the decrepit shape of their military. LOL!!
1
Agreed about weapons. Quit 'gas lighting' Ukraine on these!! If your toys are too valuable to be given to Ukraine or you don't trust them, at least be honest about it!! I have different views about NATO vetting process that I won't post here.
1
I'm not quite sure in a discussion with so many, why mbpaz hasn't been reported & their comments deleted. It is the three dots on the right side of their comment!! Come on people!!
1
I'm trying to imagine Putin or any one in authority adapting to anything. They show a blatant tendency to bury themselves in dogma & stick with it. Unless you are thinking he might turn to nukes. He doesn't seem the type. But the next 'monster to be' taking Putin's place might. There are many that are much more hardline than Putin.

@justwords3882 And Eritrea & sometimes Syria. China & India are friends of opportunity & would trust them no further than they throw them.
1
I'm sure that is why the new 'Volunteers' won't be issued any ammunition until they are at the front. Probably not much even then. Many company & regiment commanders are strangely the first to die in some of these battles. Hummm . . . Very curious.
1
@j.a.b.nijenhuis8124 1. I don't see how. They themselves talk about it al the time. 2. USSR 1989 - 1991 3. A dysfunctional russia is a danger to the world. And no more a threat to her people that what they have now. 4. Russia already split up. Only after great effort, was brought back to a loose conglomeration. And once the powerful governors were brought to heel, do you have what you have now.

@MSD Group ȼ

@SerginhoPMoura Have you ever tried to use facts to talk with a flat earther? Same concept. Letranger sniffs little putin's butt to see what he farted most recently & just posts that as fact. 🤣
1
Just one in a long string of threats by 'Vlad the Impaled' with no follow-up. Putin is a little too old to be threatening to hold his breath if he doesn't get his way. I would assert that the threat of using a wonder weapon by a bumbling military is no threat at all.
1
pssst . . . What Lavrov was talking about is Nuclear strikes if the new territories are violated. It is another ho-hum nuclear threat to the West. And the West yawns. LOL!!
1
@LibertyPrimeOnline I think he means 'россия мир' and his is right. Their world would be a shambles. Maybe devolving into Blyatistan.
1
OH!! Look at all the russian trolls. I'm surprised the loyal viewer of DW allow these to stand. You know you can report these to YouTube & have them deleted. Soon the trolls will learn to go somewhere else to get paid for their comments. Just click on the three dots to the far right of their comments. Then click on report.

@aleksandarjokic2918 I have been to russia a few times maybe?
1
@aleksandarjokic2918 Very esoteric. A bit beyond me I'm afraid. But continue on. I won't interrupt you anymore.

I think Russia has been demonstrating it's abilities in protecting anything the last 7 months. A series of goodwill gestures while letting it's soldiers be slaughtered. Is Lavrov still allowed to speak at the UN? Can anyone hear him over all the laughter? Russia has gone way beyond this being mobilization or a draft. This is a bunch of thugs in an 18th century 'press gang' just grabbing warm bodies. Welcome to Putin's Pity Party new recruits!! Your reward for not protesting over the last few years.
1
I'm sure a long tribunal will change Russian minds too. But the huge losses about to be seen in Russia will be the biggest factor.
1
I always wonder if these commercial ads really ever consider they can easily be Reported as 'Unwanted Commercial/Spam'?
1
OH!! Lots of Russian Trolls in DW tonight. Need to get a bigger fly swatter to keep the lies away.
1
@UnfollowYourDreams It is actually gas, water, & sewer lines that don't reach all russian homes. There was a big push to electrify Orclandia in the 60's so they could make sure state media could reach everyone. Boring, I know, but just so you know.
1
@FandersonUfo Sometimes I can't resist getting a 'zinger' in on them either. But they don't care & they might get paid for it. Wouldn't it be better to just see it disappear?
1
Who cares whether russia thinks so & so system is escalatory. Their envoy at the UN (with a straight face) argued that we are using combat mosquitos. Just this week they had talks with Turkey complaining about how aggressive Ukraine is. Turkey probably laughed them out of the meeting. If putin feels a breeze across his face, it is an 'ill wind' sent by the collective West. LOL!! Stop being such wimps about what we think russia might find escalatory & send Ukraine what it needs NOW!! Stop the timidity!!
1
Anything like that is possible. Likely they will train with NATO for a while longer.
1
@mandelish 'His objective'? This is an empty threat like all his others. Everyone sees how incredibly weak putin is. The last thing he wants is a war on another front . . . With a NATO nation. As a very last resort to galvanize russia, he MIGHT try something like that. But even then, I wouldn't count on it. More than likely he would be arrested about 5 minutes after ordering it.
1
@h0mo3rectus69 🤣Stop it!!
1
@notarmchairhistorian7779 Yup . . . That would be the difference between the poorest nation in Europe having older tank that are still better than older tanks of a supposed super power. LOL!! That is what makes Blyatistan a laughing stock around the world. The 2nd (worst) army of the world. Too funny!
1
OH!! Conspiracy theory against both sides. That is novel. And with the eventual winner being . . . The Illuminati? Not tearing your theory down. Just curious.
1
China & russia have a rock solid friendship . . . How soon people forget the territorial claims China made against Vladivostok in 2021 & how it almost came to blows between the two. LOL!! I don't want to help Chuckles the Tsar, but I might advise him to ignore whatever the Chinese say about coordinating anything after their 'lockdown' debacle from last year. I really can't think of a better example of the old saying 'The blind leading the blind'. 🤣
1
The oil storage in Belgorod is only about 50-60 km from Ukraine.
1
Ummm . . . Not really. They have a new 1000km drone that is 'reportedly' ready for testing. Little to nothing is known for sure. It may have been launched from inside russia but it sounds better to me for a mission a day to be launched inside Ukraine.
1
Of course the punchline is . . . 'They will defend every square meter about 4 months after it is needed. And The Bundestag rehashes it several times'. And I'm not letting my own country off the hook for dragging it's heels.
