  1. Because I missed out on young love and I am well into my 20s now and I feel lonely. I am a 21 year old guy and I never had a girlfriend or even my first kiss yet. After having no luck with 2 girls in my college and 2 girls whom I knew since my high school days and also no luck on dating apps, finally 5 days ago, a girl matched with me on one of the dating apps and for the first time, I had a decent chat with a girl on dating app without getting ghosted. She is a 19 year old girl and for the past 5 days, the chats were decent enough. We live in the same city but different college and different course too. Do you think this time I will at least get my first kiss? I also get worried thinking what if she ends up ghosting me too or wouldn't want me or she would get bored of me.

Honestly got rejected by my crushes in college who are 19-21 age range and I tried to connect with girls whom I knew in my high school days by following them on IG but they didn't even accept my follow request and they are all 21-22 year olds now. There is a girl named Aishu who was my close friend when we were in elementary school and we were neighbors too so we used to often study together, play together, make silly drawings together etc and even fight sometimes but again become friends. But in 2011, my parents bought a new apartment so we came to a different area, so me and Aishu never really talked with each other since 2011. Now we are both 21 and I saw her on Instagram few days ago and I tried following her but she isn't even accepting my follow request and idk why and it makes me sad.   12.  @samgaming0626  why are you calling me an elder? 3 year age gap is nothing when both are adults and we are both so close in age and match in maturity. The age gap would have been problematic if it was a 25 year old dating an 18 year old because 25 year olds have been out of college for few years and working whereas I am 22 and still a student just like her. I am just her senior in college. 22 year old dating an 18/19 year old is normal as they are all college age.

It just surprises me how 5+ years ago, I was a kid compared to 18 year olds as I was a minor and 18 year olds used to call me kids whereas now at 22, I am 4 years older than 18 year olds. It surprises me that I am even older than 20 year olds by 2 years. Even the fact that I am a year older than 21 year olds kinda makes me feel surprised at times. At least I am still younger than 25 year olds but it will change after 3 years.

  22.  @sankkham  I was really adamant last year that I will only date an American or European girl because Western countries are more open minded than India but I might have to wait few years before I can move abroad so I wanted to give Indian girls a chance too as I live in Bangalore which is a big city so things would be better here than smaller cities and towns. I can't pay for escorts because I still live with my parents and will be graduating college in 2023 so I am not financially independent for it and I don't wanna spend my dad's money on them.

When you were 27, I was only 13. Even though I am 21, I still feel mentally as if I am 14-16 especially with all these crushes I get on girls(don't worry I only get crush on girls within the 18 to 28 age range).

We did handshake on the first day of our class and said our names and it was the first time I did handshake with a girl. Last week she was initiating convo with me asking whether I had lunch or not and some more and I answered them but I am still shy to initiate any further convos with her so the our conversations end soon and for the past 2-3 days she isn't trying to talk to me anymore and I am shy to try to start any conversation with her. I did follow her on Instagram yesterday and she followed me back too but I didn't dm her yet. I always think about her and wanna get to know her. I also have been chatting with this another girl who is 19 now on Instagram since 28th May 2023 and she too used to be in the same school as me but now we are in different colleges. Her college is very near to my home tho and we chat daily about everything and even send each other virtual hugs too but I am nervous to ask her out too as I got rejected by 4 girls recently and it still looks like she only sees me as a friend. Whats crazy is I like this 19 year old and I also like my childhood friend and this new crush who is 22/23 year old.

  39. I understand how you feel as I am a 22 year old guy who never had a girlfriend before. Recently after getting rejected by 3 girls, I asked out my childhood friend for a coffee who is 21 year old now turning 22 after 2 months by messaging her on Instagram but she isn't that active on the app so she took almost a month to reply to it and she agreed by replying yeah ok but she is offline again and didn't reply yet about when we can meet. I also have been chatting with another girl for the past 3 almost 4 weeks on Instagram who is in 1st year of college now and I am in last year of college and she is 19 year old now. We used to be in the same school too but didn't know each other in our school days. We chat daily and share about everything and send each other virtual hugs too and I started liking her too but I like my childhood friend too and she didn't reject me either so can I ask out this other girl? It looks like she still sees me as only a friend but will it take longer for her to develop feelings for me or is 3-4 weeks already long enough? We are in different colleges but her college is very near to my home.

I confessed to that 19 year old girl(who just turned 20 few days ago) on 5th August 2022 that I liked her a lot after chatting with her on Instagram for 3 weeks and she rejected me. Few days ago I heard a song which reminded me of a girl who was my high school crush. We were in same grade but we weren't classmates and I had a crush on her when we were in 9th and 10th grade. Now she is also 21 or maybe even 22 and tried following her on Instagram thinking I could try my luck on her but she didn't even accept my follow request and she didn't even answer my message which I sent her.

One was 19(turned 20 last month) and another was 20 or 21 and both rejected me. I use dating apps but hardly get matches. Last week I was matched by 2 girls. One was 18 turning 19 in Feb and she unmatched me for no reason whereas another was 21 and she too ended up ghosting and unmatching me. Yesterday I was matched with this 20 year old girl who unmatched me after I told her that my hobby is singing and that was strange. I also follow some girls on Instagram whom I knew in high school and they are all 20-22 year olds too and only like 2 of them chat with me.

  44.  @Aleksandar6ix  Btw yesterday I heard a song which was released in 2009 and I felt nostalgic hearing it and it reminds me of a girl whom I knew since my school days. She was in the same grade as me but we weren't in the same class and she changed school after 10th grade. She is also 21 or maybe 22 now so the same age as me and I followed her on Instagram but she hasn't accepted my follow request yet. I wish she could be my girlfriend now but she is too pretty and I was considered a loser by most guys in my grade in high school so maybe she would still find me lame even though she probably didn't know me properly. She also probably has a boyfriend. I really wish she follow me back so I can chat with her and get to know her.

  45.  @BLUESKY-zt1nv  it's still scary that you are 60 and never had one. I am 22 now and already feel terrible that I have no girlfriend. I see all these teenagers on Quora saying they got girlfriend and boyfriend and they are like 13-15 year olds and I am like how can they have it so easy whereas I am 22 and still not even a single girlfriend. It's crazy that there are also people like you who are 60 and never had one so that shows things are unfair.

All I am relying on is dating apps and Instagram to socialize with girls around my age. I chat with some girls on Instagram but my only hope is on my childhood friend who is 21 now turning 22 after 3-4 months but it's been a long time since we talked in person so idk whether she would be comfortable if I dared to ask her out

Only one girl who is 19 didn't ghost me completely but we don't chat regularly. I had crush on 2 girls in my college few months ago but both rejected me.
