The one time I was arrested and had my picture taken I smiled. I was told not to do that and they took another picture.
1
I first saw it on Reddit. About the same narrative. Car breaks down, driver waves down police, police go psycho. Reddit, making Wikipedia look as reliable as the Voice of God.
1
@ActualJusticeWarrior I get that mass layoffs aren't good. Unfortunately every person I've seen in these videos is probably too young to remember the collapse of the tech bubble in the 1990's. The tech industry has always been boom and bust. This isn't even a bust, it's mostly cutting excess fat.
1
ICE needs to follow the lead of Sheriff Gravy from Florida. He holds weekly press conferences where he shows off the people arrested and why. He also generally lists off each person's prior history so they can't argue "just made a mistake". It's preemptive information against the "innocent baby angel" reporting.
1
Their liberal white saviors will. Look at the people pushing hardest for "squatter's rights".
1
TYT, apposed to crowd funding. Also TYT, spends time on EVERY episode ebegging the audience.
1
I remember being told by the left opinion lords that a Trump victory would be the great unifier that brought progressives together. Since the election I've seen almost nothing but crossfire accusations and posts blaming each other. They look more like a room full of angry cats than usual.
1
Don't worry, California and New York will deal with this problem. After the election in November. Before then they need the dumb masses to believe they are doing something about affordable housing and kicking a bunch of squatters out on the streets would make for bad optics. They'll collect the checks from major donors and begin protecting those donors as soon as it's politically feasible.
1
I'm waiting for the "October surprise" when Biden gets behind a live mic and goes off on Harris. Maybe some disjointed rant about how he should never have been dumb enough to promise a "Woman of color" as VP.
1
The driver was clearly an innocent victim. He only pulled his hoodie up (During the summer) over his head before he ran away. He was too scared to remember to put on his COVID mask before running away. That poor child could have been infected by all those bystanders. He's the real victim.
1
Have you seen some of the decisions that have come out of California courts? They are the ones who decided to give homeless people super citizen rights. One of the reasons so many insane laws are proposed there is that the elected idiots know the courts will back them.
1
@cassiefuchs3657 It depends on which version (Chapter) of bankruptcy you file under. Sometimes it's done to stop creditors from seizing assets and allowing the business to keep operating so they can reorganize to pay them back. Though there are others that are a complete shutdown. This is usually when the debt to earning ratio is so far out of whack that there's no way the debts can ever be paid.
1
New York shut down off track betting because they lost too much money. They had a monopoly on gambling, and managed to lose money. The state of Illinois shut down their lottery because it lost money. Something with a built in 50% profit margin and it went bankrupt. Various federal agencies have seized bordellos in Nevada. The IRS taking over the Bunny Ranch is the most famous. All have closed do to running an unprofitable model. Most people in government supervisory jobs are there because they can't survive in the private sector.
1
Teenagers are notorious for making spontaneous bad decisions. I would say an armed 14 year old, all other circumstances being equal, is probably more dangerous to the general public than a 30 year old.
1
Intersectionality. He is a "he", and a cis he at that, so an enemy. The more qualifiers you have, the higher you rank. The more "oppression titles" you can list in your bio, the more you can attack lesser oppressed. Even calling lesser oppressed oppressors. It's a weird, shifting system. Currently the alphabet people are on top, but they have subgroups within who are fighting to be the most oppressed, and by default the most powerful.
1
I thought I was normal. Sorry, but I had to laugh at that. I was much older when I finally went back to therapy (After repeatedly crashing my life) and was diagnosed with Persistent Depressive Disorder. I was honestly shocked that almost all people aren't like me. It was similar to when I was 15 and got glasses. I saw leaves on trees for the first time. I just assumed people saw a big, green fuzzy thing.
1
The owners were shocked that their store was targeted. Really? You have something, several sometimes. All of which are easily portable and resold. OF COURSE YOU WERE TARGETED! For a supposedly woke state full of woke people it's desperately full of people that need to wake the f*ck up. I'm not trying to blame the victims. But either change your system or adapt to the reality you created.
1
"Commodities futures trading is a dangerous business." Just ask anyone who was involved with Hillary Clinton's history in it.
1
Gotta support the bad boys. Clearly they are the one woman who can turn them into the prince they were meant to be. Also having a couple million dollars helps.
1
Imagine all the big brains at the Bail Project, who claim to understand the law better than everyone else, not knowing how to run a background check. It's almost as if their goal is to turn violent felons lose on society.
1
Snopes exists today purely to provide cover for insane Dems and the sycophant press that works as their PR wing. By claiming an unrelated and irrelevant story about a person is untrue, or adding an additional factor to make it untrue, they can claim anything negative is made up. The press, and people online, will then say that the entire incident is untrue and has been fact checked.
1
@gambitbeats2154 Check the history of the Dustbowl era. Thousands of farms and homes across America were abandoned. People just got up and left. Also check with your state. Most have an annual auction of abandoned/no title real estate. The usual cause today is a person dies and their heirs don't know that person owned it. After taxes aren't paid for a few years and the owner can't be contacted, it goes up for sale.
1
Elections have consequences. So do the precedents they created.
1
JEB! He's still waiting for his turn. Unfortunately too many people in the leadership of the RNC still think he should be next.
1
I like the intent. But how long until prosecutors claim their hands are tied because of supposed non violent sentencing rules? The cycle begins again and we're back to you get what you voted for.
1
@casebased8391 You got it partially right. Men can more easily be happy alone. I can find hour after hour of videos on Tik Tok and other sites of women sitting in their cars, crying or putting on makeup (Which they only do for themselves, they said so) asking where all the men are. Or lots of single mothers, often with two or more kids from multiple fathers wanting someone to "step up" and take care of them. Can't seem to find much of the male equivalent. I'm not saying women are incapable of being both alone and happy. But it's almost a default setting for men as opposed to a hard to learn behavior for women. There's the old cliche of "Happy wife, happy life." But I can't find "Happy hubby,.....?"
1
I'm willing to allow an alternative to death if there was a true life in prison alternative. 6×8 cell, 24/7 for as long as you live. They also waive future appeals and civil suits, stop bothering people. You have forfeited all rights given by society. Until then, keep firing up Old Sparky.
1
I asked a couple coworkers who supported the idea of limiting profits for grocery stores or other places selling necessities. They agreed that 10% was plenty. They couldn't believe that any grocery store would be thrilled with even a 5% margin. 10% would have the owners and stockholders wetting their pants in sheer joy.
1
Two words...De Port! It's easy. Turn off their benefit cards, no more handouts. I don't want to hear about "doing jobs Americans won't." We have more than enough native born criminals. If they are "children" then their parents/guardians can go with them. I'm sorry your old country is a dump. But we need to save what's left here before it also becomes more of a dump.
1
Censorship, on the rare occasion it is called for, is something that needs a scalpel. The modern left insists on doing it constantly, and using a grenade. Then shift to outrage mode when (Surprise!) it effects them. I would like to welcome them to the party, but can't. They refuse to see that they are the problem. They just want to be protected from their own mistakes and policies while using those same policies to punish wrongthink.
1
Has anyone put forward the possibility of both? A) It is a poorly managed property. AND B) Gangs based out of Central/South America are taking over sections of it. This isn't an extreme idea. Look at the projects in any city during the 1970's/80's. Slums that were overrun with gangs.
1
They'll still double down on the claim that she shouldn't have cried for help because that endangered black men. Remember, it's your duty to be a victim.
1
A friend's father, a lawyer at the time, now a judge once told me something important for cases like this. There's what you believe. There's what you know. And there's what you can prove in court. The first two make for interesting conversation, the last is the only one that counts. If she isn't brought up on charges and eventually convicted, nothing she did ever really happened.
1
@misanthropicservitorofmars2116 The algorithm has no sense of humor or sarcasm. The list of no-no words keeps growing. A future researcher is going to be very confused why members of the dominant German political party of the 1930's/40's is so often referred to as "Noodles", or similar words. So far the only good thing is that YouTube isn't as bad as Reddit. I've been banned from one subreddit because of a post on another. Personally, I took being pre blocked as an achievement.
1
Flex Seal has a great opportunity for an ad. "Hi, I'm Phil Swift for Flex Seal. Does your reservoir cover have a rip or tear?" Sprays on a can. "There, done in five minutes. Not five years. And at a fraction of the cost. There's enough money left over to pay for a dozen Pride Parades." Unfortunately Flex Seal is a Florida based company, so it's probably illegal for anyone in California to do business with them.
1
Part of the purity circle. Everyone feels the need to be more than others. Anyone who doesn't show 100% plus go even further is the enemy. They know this, they know the mob will likely come for them too, they hope a sacrifice will hold it at bay until they find a new outrage.
1
Detroit got so bad they eventually did.
1
@mpowe123 Uninsured motorist covers you if you are are in an accident and the other driver isn't insured. He would have to be covered for theft. This is an added option and costs more. If a car is declared totalled it is highly unlikely you will receive full replacement valve.
1
@massimocasella4201 Sorry, should have edited that. Teenager who think they know everything. The attitude is also found in college freshmen who have two history and a sociology class completed and are becoming insufferably woke.
1
Every dictator knows that no matter how bad things get, you pay the military. Every corrupt politician knows that you pay your lawyers. She isn't paying her lawyers, police salaries may soon be cut. Her ego has overwhelmed whatever intelligence she has.
1
I watched a few clips from TYT. I got the impression they knew Harris was doomed, but the House and Senate moves upset them more. Jimmy Dore was raging. But at least it was against the Democrats. He went back to Hillary Clinton and started listing off the bad decisions they've made since then to get to this point.
1
If Cenk is running in any open primary states, please Republicans vote for him. If he gets enough votes the chaos can continue.
1
I'm surprised they aren't directly mentioning Trump's biggest new power. He'll probably get to pick two new judges for the Supreme Court.
1
Remember, these are the people who supported VP Harris' choice of a running mate.
1
They didn't want Hillary Clinton for VP because they knew she'd be aiming for the big chair from day 1. She would have quietly pushed Biden out over a year ago. She would not have used the 25th Amendment as a threat. Joe would have walked into his office and found it signed and sitting on his desk. This is why they wanted Warren. They thought she could be controlled. They ended up with Harris. Someone who could be convinced by outsiders she was supposed to be President.

Another Dindu Nuffin mom pumping out Dindu Nuffin kids.
1
"Across state lines" is somehow proof of illegal intent has become as accepted as truth by the left as much as "Good people on both sides". On the upside, both have become coded touchstones. When I hear someone say it I know to be prepared to walk away. They are too entrenched in their own wokeness to have a real discussion with.
1
These are the same people who default to "shoot the gun out of their hand".
1
You count illegal immigrants as part of the number of students you have, but won't cooperate with federal law enforcement when trying to find criminals? Goodbye federal education funds. State and city law enforcement won't cooperate with federal law enforcement? Goodbye federal law enforcement subsidies. This is how they made 21 the national drinking age. It isn't an actual law. But if states didn't raise their age limits they would lose highway funding.
1
TYT are the equivalent of that uncle who will spend an hour explaining why the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Kennedy assassination, and Little Cesar's pizza are part of the same conspiracy.
