Putin is God. Obama is Evil. Gayrope is going to Hell. <copy><paste>

It’s very strange for me as a Russian that like 90% of apartments for rent in Europe(CZ , DE)have no furniture so you have to invest in furniture in your temporary place , in Russia it’s completely opposite tenants don’t want any expenses except for some small things like kettle or towels.

Yeah no rule of law is one of the main reason why I left. Even if you are not related to any of political protest you just can’t plan your life or your business you can be arrested for let’s say “fraud” allegations get your business extorted from you and spend like 10 years in prison for the same stuff your neighbour doing every day. I mean is it worth it? Yeah there are some opportunities but there are no reasons to be law abiding in an environment like that where you can’t clearly say how you gonna get fckd up. Kafka-esque country if you will.

You can’t really compare these projects in Russian big cities to so called “projects” in the US, these hoods will look hella suspicious for every suburban American but they are actually quite safe and clean. People living there do work actually and make more than average in most cases.

LOL I basically moved to another city and my parents ignored every military guy coming into vicinity of their household until I'm 27.

Russia is now like #1 VPN and crypto country in the world. If you do it slowly (restrictions)people gonna improvise adapt overcome. Probably the first “parallel state” gonna declare independence by the Russians just because the primary one becomes too dysfunctional.

I was in Georgia 2 weeks ago everyone were good with me, he just has to learn “Putin she khleo khle pirschi muteli scheveci” and he gonna be alright LOL, an Ukrainian colored cap or a bracelet will help too.

- Can I have a cup of cappuccino and a bagel? Waitress: -You know Ruruk has passed his kingdom to Prince Oleg who was a regent of Igor….
56
Something is really happening, he's changing the laws to "protect ex-president and his buddies" like there is no tomorrow
49
Mick B climate-wise it's more like Northern California on average, it's much warmer than England from April through November. If you visit Sochi in February that's what you get often cold and windy(no snow though)
48
Coconut212 I think ruskies don't sitting on welfare unlike other immigrants from the Middle East or Africa. It's outrageous that those people are more welcomed in Eastern and Nothern EU counties than ruskies who don't want any government help just to be allowed to live in civilized country.
43
Actually I saw almost no Z symbols in Moscow this September. Even the car owners don’t want to wear the ribbon on their windshield(I’ve counted like 5% of cars wearing way less than in January. Aside from some rare building in city center Z was actually rare.
43
Gerard Depardeu , Steven Seagal, Roy Jones all those new Russians you should make a video about them!
37
Yep if you consider “normal”=“regular” but at the same time it’s hard to tell if this model of society is “sustainable” wasting so much of a talent and human potential in the 21st century when it becomes so important just to preserve old neo-feudal models based on selling natural resources. I believe countries won’t be able to afford their current ineffective and corrupt governments even in those western countries not to say Russia.
37
Ivan Matias Isasi Astigarraga because he finally made it outta the hood I mean Soviet Russia
37
Taxes is not that straightforward though, first if you have an average Russian salary of $600 per month it's 13% personal tax but in many developed countries salary that low is not even taxable, second , your employer is paying something like 43% to be able to pay you your $600 per month minus 13%....I would prefer people paying more and businesses(at least independent small and medium sized)paying less so people demand more for their taxes from the government, but government crooks don't like that idea.
32
I have lived in the outskirts of Moscow for more than 10 years. I regularly walking late evenings and nights but I rarely see someone aggressive or even suspicious, sometimes I see drunk hipsters(very rare) but they are peaceful af. Young girls walking lonely 1:00AM and they don't look scared at all. Unfortunately gopniks those marvelous creatures are extinct in my neighborhood I have never seen one for a very long time.
29
Bricks On Da Beat It's Chelyabinsk dude, median salary is like $400 per month.
28
@sep0262 not true, 71% are supporters by a state poll, but many of them are afraid. The most reliable question people are less afraid to be honest about is “Do you think that thing going in right direction in our country?” it’s less than 50%.
28
@tauno908 I believe it depends what guarantees you have with your rental agreement, in NYC some people live paying the same monthly price they paid in 1970’s until they die. In Russia the landlord can evict you anytime on a week notice even if you pay in time with no reason…so what you gonna do with all that furniture you bought … just leave it as a present to the landlord just evicted you despite you being a very good tenant.
27
C7Dvids gayropean
25
If you are on a good side of Putin and didn’t say anything recently against the regime you have nothing to be afraid about…it’s stupid to think the law is equal for anyone in Russia and if some of his cronies accidentally says “war” they gonna be put in jail or something.
23
SirOink in Russia it's in the bathroom/kitchen like 70%/30% , own washing mashing is pretty much essential for a russian, no one will tolerate a common washing machines for the entire building like they have in the United States or sometimes in Europe.
22
OMG Berlin looks like 10 times more "soviet" than Moscow LOL
21
seoreh that was craze , our grandfathers and grandmother could spend 5-10 monthly salaries on a fuckin carpet, it was like a symbol of well being I dunno why most of them were pretty tasteless piece of garbage. It kinda changed now in developed cities with our new generation but Russians still tend to waste their money on expensive wallpapers instead of just painting the walls.
21
Cykelpatrullen LOL I am a Russian and I love Peter Stormare, his Russian cosmonaut role was actually very funny and didn't have any negative connotations in the movie, I loved him in Siberian Education as well, though the whole movie was a huge LOL stereotype wise
20
A separate washer and dryer is an American thing I believe. It’s one thing in Europe and Russia.
20
Polish and Czech people are coming angry about calling them Eastern Europe LOL is like Kazakh people trying to prove that Borat is not actually from Kazakhstan in every Borat and Kazakhstan video LOL
20
BRRP Whut? Is it your personal bias or maybe you have some statistics? In the Czech Republic Russian emigrants definitely do not sit on welfare, many of them are actually IT and business people creating jobs or having a high payed jobs paying taxes etc.
19
A Jae In the Life of Day I guess Russia has way less street crime than Mexico though
18
Life in Russia won’t be the same like it was in the 2010s the economic and social effects of this war are still to come….so if you don’t have good connections to protect your rights and you don’t make huge profits from it it’s better to try build your life elsewhere.
18
17
I"m a Russian from Russia but I'd rather vaccinated with a Pfizer vaccine, at least you can get a EU travel pass with it. I believe ethnic russians living in some other former USSR states watch too much russian tv propaganda though it's still kinda strange because many people who watch government tv in Russia actually do not trust the vaccine or vaccination in general.
15
Gayson Jiovanni It's like saying Americans are Europeans, aside from having a smaller part in Europe geographically Russia is multiethnic society
15
I’m not sure about today but ever several years ago they had a special jail block in of the Moscow main detention centers where they had “privileged conditions” for white Europeans and Americans so called “European Standards” by default while Central Asians and Russians themselves were held packed like sardines in a can in awful conditions(well you can arrange good conditions in a jail but only for serious money)
13
Cykelpatrullen Peter Stormare should be awarded "a honorary russian" award for his Russian achievements LOL...wait is Viggo Mortensen Swedish as well?
12
SebaBRUH what? no freedom of movement is much much worse than the situation where you have no guaranteed apartment. WTF the Jews were allowed to leave the Soviet Union in 1974 but other ethnicities were not, Soviet Union deserved to die!
12
@luisvasconcelos1053 you can always apply for an asylum after your visa is expired (if Putin stays), Germany would probably give asylum to the Russians especially if Putin declares martial law
12
Новости из Питера - кто то успешно и профессионально расчленил тело но тупо спалился во время транспортировки уклоняясь от падающих сосулек
12
I mean it’s a cultural thing…a “Slav” may sometimes look kinda Asian but if he has a slavic name chill attitude and speaks kinda with no accent he’s kinda “predictable” for the landlord. Chechechs usually more athletic have strong accent , wear beards and more like “tribe for life” attitude they could be decent but many landlords consider them unpredictable and not being law abiding kinda.
11
Slovenia and Montenegro are kinda underrated here. Supporting Ukraine is OK but the country is devastated even before the war cmon.
11
Year if you doing business in Russia you are a criminal by default and totally dependent on a goodwill of government related authorities. That’s by design if just can’t obey the laws and feel secure. You are forced to be a “criminal” to stay on a hook forever. Any business activity can be viewed as a “fraud” if they want.
10
Use VPN people you gonna need it sooner or later. China has failed to block VPNs completely , not to say Russia.
10
No it’s not a job here. But all Russians Homer “patriots” (usually 60+ ppl)really “believe” all Russian emigrants can do in America or “Europe” is washing local asses for two cents a month.
10
@manbtm1 sanitary? But you stay in the hotels, AirBnb’s and completely fine with the fact you use furniture bed sheets towels that were used before….I suppose LOL, I don’t get what’s the problem with used furniture…fine you can buy new towels bed sheets etc if you want….LOL
10
What’s the problem with this? Some ethnic Kazakhs don’t speak Kazakh. A lot of ethnic Russians in southern Kazakhstan like Kyzylorda and Shymkent speak Kazakh because it’s good for business.
10
I’m a Muscovite and I like St. Peterburgians(except for St. P cops they are O.C.)
9
Yeah it’s kinda surreal and Kafka-esque.
