  3. The problem here VPN won’t completely solve this problems. There were caching servers inside Russia so most YouTube content didn’t require downloading from abroad. Now when you can only access YouTube through foreign VPNs all YouTube traffic have to be downloaded from abroad through VPNs and those cables going outside of Russia aren’t capable to withstand that increased additional VPN traffic.

  4. Technically you are right. Russia didn’t directly.But Russia has been facilitating military pressure against the Ottomans that made nationalist revolts in Serbia and Montenegro way harder to suppress.

  7. R John I think it's the same safety level as for whites, it was more dangerous in the past in some areas but it was many years ago, there a lot of asians everywhere so they are blended in. Black people stick out a bit, not a lot of them, but I see them almost every day, they don't have a bad reputation or something but you can experience some curious stares from people never saw a black person, mostly in non touristy areas, other than that I wouldn't expect any special treatment based on skin color, you can experience a lack of stranger smiles or some other cultural things like everyone else of any skin color.

  9.  @martinpospisil3747  as a Russian that learned some Czech I noticed that Russian actually have more borrowings from Dutch French and English than Czech(as far as I know the language been reconstructed in 1918 or a little bit later)….words of German origin…I don’t know I wouldn’t say I was overwhelmed by them…German influence is being felt but not so much in the language department.

  11. Yeah, privacy, as far as I know buying a SIM card and using a CryptoATM in Germany is no privacy at all. If you cross the border into the Czech Republic it feels like you entering a libertarian paradise LOL

  12. jonasxdufek I actually like CR better than Germany, you are doing pretty well , I think lower average salaries makes you competitive, the country is safe and your institutions are developed enough to be considered a developed country. I also like you saved your currency and staying away from euro and keeping welfare immigrants away. You also have bitcoinomats and SIM cards without stupid identifications, I think czechs have some kind of libertarian spirit or at least don't like oppressive and controlling government.

Grambo it's a complex issue, it's like overregulated in one area but the civil society is underdeveloped , the law is lax and rarely followed , usually not respected because many people think the elites don't follow the law why should I. it's not an anarchy it's a bad organization of our societies.

  16. Lauri Toerni yes but German laws are really bad for the landlords so they are very picky if they choose a wrong person not paying it would take a lot of time to evict him. In Russia laws are more favorable for the landlords so no one will demand you have a full time job proofs if you want to rent a fking apartment.

  17. Thanks God it's much much better in Moscow, my mom got surgery 2 times in Moscow and it's pretty good....European level(I have been in the hospitals in the Netherlands, Czechia) but last year I had to visit a hospital in a small city in Russia and it's awful...a disaster, 3rd world level

  18. It's very hard to be disabled in Russia, most of them have to sit home all the time because Russian city infrastructure is not friendly for them, it's extremely hard to even get out of typical Russian apartment building by yourself on a wheelchair.

  24. MarioDesigns the same goes for Moscow. They look civilized Mercedes minibuses whatever .You can pay by tapping a credit/transport card but it's still a pain in the ass if you are over 1.9m .Thank God there are enough buses in Moscow and you can ignore those minibuses.

  25. TheDAWinz man if I can make 3million dollars there within 1 year I would even move to Somalia. Russia has it's opportunities if you want to take risks. San Diego has a nice climate but if I can make x2 somewhere else I would probably move to a place like Russia,if it's x20 I would move to Iraq or Somalia.

  28. I liked when I visited it 3 month ago, and I’m a Russian LOL and spoke mostly Russian except for a local bank. I would say Georgians are those people you can get on a good side of pretty easily. But if they don’t know English and you still expect some top notch “service” from them you might be disappointed that’s just how it is in many places especially in the Caucasus. Treat those people like you want to be friends with them don’t demand service because “Ima customer you gonna serve me according to my expectation”. That’s the basic cultural thing you have to know about the Caucasus. They gonna do everything for a decent person, a friend but you often can’t expect those standards of western “service” applied to every customer. I think it’s cool there is a cultural diversity like that out there. This world would have been a boring place otherwise.

  30. Yep in English nationality means passport…in Russian the similar word(nacionalnost’)means ethnicity so even Russian people with good English mistakenly translate “nacionalnost’” as “nationality” just because it’s so similar.

  37.  @rockxaction  I believe tenants are very protected in Germany so they want to invest their time and money to make a rental apartment with naked water hookups and nothing else a liveable place….I mean buying a Kitchen setup and a Fridge for your rental apartment sounds absolutely crazy for a Russian….then.. if I decided to move to another city am I obliged to pay like a million euros to disassemble everything and pay someone to get it away from the apartment somewhere.

  46. As a Russian and kinda moderate privacy enthusiast I’ve been hearing like bad news about Australia last years.. I mean privacy and encryption laws etc. At least America is is still kinda back and forth game and they still resist some bad laws despite corporations and government agencies being very powerful compared to Australia.

  47. IshiAza Ishev those kind of apartments are usually about 50% of local median salary so it's $400 per month, and average salary is about 30% higher than that. In Moscow you can rent the similar place for $450-500(outskirts of the city though).

  48. As a Russian I really don’t get why some western conservatives like today’s Russia. Aside from not having things like “woke” and LGBT “agenda” there is not much in Russia that looks like healthy pragmatic American conservatism. There are more important things that American conservatives should hate - invasive government…state dominant economy, no rule of law, questionable property rights, propaganda averywhere etc.
