These 'things' which seem intelligent are programmed by humans to perform tasks, either physical or mental emulation, that's it, they do what they're told, even if you program it to seem intelligent about something, they are unemotional. Devices do not evolve, they are manufactured. But hey if you are in love with a smart toaster go ahead, get married raise a family 🫤
