  23.  @KD_SWAGGER  I can kinda see both sides of the coin. I spent two years working in an airport and TSA has a well-earned reputation for being a**holes. They were especially douchey with airport workers like me because, as an airport employee, they had the authority to confiscate my badge (which would effectively put me out of a job). But many of them have had to tone it down a bit because Congress (which oversees the TSA) has fielded a lot of complaints from the general public about TSA's customer service.

It's like people who smoke five packs of cigarettes a day and then expect some doctor to come along and magically cure their cancer (on top of demanding the government to pay all of their healthcare bills) instead of simply quitting smoking, which can extend your life far better than any doctor or hospital can. I've been to NYC and there's litter EVERYWHERE. Rats are attracted to one thing and that is the smell of food. They can't survive and they can't breed without food, in fact studies have shown that if rats can't find any other food source they will actually cannibalize themselves (essentially doing the work for us). The bottom line is that if you don't help keep the city and your own home clean, then you could set 10 billion rat traps and spray rat poison over every square inch of the city every day of every week....it won't make any real difference in the rat problem.

Imagine showing up in a faraway foreign country with no money, no savings, no job or job offer, no place to live, no friends or family to stay with, no apparent education, no skills and being in a country where she doesn't speak the language. And on top of all of THIS...she arrives in the middle of winter and then has the nerve to complain about the cold. This combination of stupidity, arrogance and entitlement is infuriating.

You sound like you’re much younger than me (even though I’m sure you’ll lie and say you’re 50) so let me give you some advice, kid: you need to pull your head out of your ass. You will be rejected for a LOT of jobs that you apply to in your lifetime, and you will encounter a LOT of co-workers who don’t like you and treat you like crap. It’s a reality of life that you need to get used to. You will also be fired from at least one job in your life (everybody has including me, and anyone who says differently is lying). I absolutely agree that racism should never be an excuse for lack of success, but that is what people on the Left believe and want everyone else to believe.

But there were plenty of people whom we had to kick out for a variety of reasons, such as: using heroin or meth, smoking, brandishing a knife, sexually harassing other residents, indecency or sexual misconduct. Yeah, shelters actually have these things called “rules” and some individuals are not willing to abide by them.

Other sanctuary cities like Chicago have taken similar steps, like refusing to share data about the illegal migrants with federal authorities.
