Perhaps if the focused on productivity instead of destruction and handouts they might be worth more than $2/day.

Encouraging to think that our "safety obsessed culture" allows this sort of thing. I couldn't do it even in my youth when I rode hard daily, never did anything remotely like this. I understand and appreciate those who choose to and are good enough to pull it off. Free people should have the right to risk their OWN life. I loath the Nanny State mentality, I used seat belts and helmets long before they were mandatory but I don't like to be told I have to.

It will end up the same, a bunch of no-nothing self proclaimed experts cashing in on childish ignorance and the minor problems will be fixed and forgotten and airliners will continue with their spectacular safety record.
14
Based on the behavior of these fools they aren't even worth $2 per month.

I hear the fishing was good.
5
Phenomenal front yard fishing it's been said!
4
@sokoassszddhgjz7a76yrnold6 WHAT problems are you talking about?
4
TranceElevation Look at passenger air miles traveled safety record for ANY modern airliner, your comment is ignorant and childish in that context. There IS NO separation between safety and profitably when it comes to airliners.
3
Everything else equal I'll find the calm considered voice far more compelling than the hysterical one.
3
Brave would be to got to Gaza, these are punks who don't know what they represent.
3
Same thing that's ALWAYS been happening, it's called weather and propaganda.
3
@coleengoodell7523 Plenty of examples of severe burns but I've never heard of a phone battery blowing off limbs. Word is they injected or installed small quantities of thermally active explosive and the batt caused to get hot to detonate.
3
Rob Ainscough Your assuming that this particular report is accurate which is dubious. How do you know these aren't just disgruntled workers or others with an ax to grind.
2
They say that front yard fishing is phenomenal!
2
That myth is a BIG part of the problem, it's primarily the lack of frequent fire that allows these conditions to develop. Past time to murder Smokey the Bear and manage the land far more properly including prescribed burns.
2
DO NOT become popular in China, that presents a perceived threat to the evil CCP, they will not stand for it.
2
Hate to "armchair advise" but those dams will be far stronger if you simply make them slightly more labor and material intensive via a gentle curve against the flow....or less intensive via making them thinner and still stronger. Concrete walls have very low tensile strength so the entire structure should be in compression. I just fear that they won't hold up long as constructed here.
2
It sure isn't CO2 so you may as well invent any other childish nonsense.
2
@Zappy Zap No he should be calm and considered like the professor, hysterical is not convincing.
2
Nope. This was from driving their SUVs too much. 😄
2
@Peter-tz1pj Do have a point or just another bored child?
2
Germany is starved for a new generation, maybe some refugee young families would mesh? (not to make lite of terrible situation) As Commifornian American I welcome most of the immigrants from our South, some of our best most crucial productive ppl and not only bc Cali agriculture totally depends on them. Different situation in peace, but I figure those few (million) fighting to get into America are going to be better than average US citizens. :D
2
Just flushing the toilet. Situation normal.
2
Peter Frampton And you are an expert because???....you watched a video on YouTube?
1
Aziz Mehmet And you are and aviation expert because....??? ....ahhh, you watched a video on YouTube, what else could we want to know about your expertise!
1
Jim Smith It's entirely Boeing's responsibility no matter who made the parts, it's THEIR job to ensure every bit is air worthy. That said, I wouldn't worry about it.
1
But it's OK for you to say they are worth more than $X/day?? How is that any different? I'm NOT say'n what they are worth, that's up to those who are ambitious enough to be in the position to offer then anything. They are worth what they can produce or command in a free market place, apparently that's not very much in this instance.
1
Steph Marly I appreciate your perspective. What I have seen from them during difficult times (particularly the earthquake aftermath) have been prime examples of irresponsible citizens expecting everything to be taken care of by someone else, taking action and responsibility on their own behalf seems to be a foreign concept. It's all outrage and no proposed solutions nor productive action.
1
Fortunately fracking has gutted the US coal industry.
1
K2 is ultimate not Everest.
1
Abrahamic religions are such wonderful toxic dogmas.
1
You'd already lost that bet many times over. How naive and ignorant are you?
1
Just be happy this isn't like dozens of times in last few million yrs when temp swings were 10X greater.
1
Yeah they profit BIG TIME when people die! What an mindless moron. And you don't have any idea how and why they crashed anyway, Lion pilots appeared to be to drunk to walk straight.
1
@ecoRfan Do you have inside information on this? Sounds a little speculative although plausible. I have a bro veteran Mech. Engineer for Boeing Airliners but I haven't talked to him about it yet.
1
Free fish in front yard!
1
Your a clueless hysterical FOOL. Look at the fatalities per PASSENGER MILE. By your nonsense figuring the Concord is perfectly safe because it no longer flies at all.
1
You have NO IDEA what your rambling about child. 200 orders?? Try something like 5000. Figures from someone with a Bozo picture. And you think they profit from crashes? Wow. You are a mindless FOOL.
1
@GREATNESS275 Say's the clown expert who never left mommy's basement let alone flew anywhere or has any clue how an aircraft works...or anything else other than the caps lock.
1
Your not so stupid as to STILL believe that Truther comedy, are you?? Lol
1
One big concern--will it have wildlife corridors? I doubt it. (I realize it will take more manpower with breaks)
1
@SonsoftheEagle You are MORON.
1
Interesting the Communist party of America doesn't like the competition.
1
Are you that F'n ignorant?? If flying is dangerous ANY other sort of transport is suicide.
1
Yeah you can't stand still in that or any other business, advance or die. They will get it fixed and all will be forgotten in a few yr.s just like when Boeing was "DOOMED" do to Dreamliner battery issues.
1
Welcome to the Stupid Club.
1
@monteyoung5696 That's 30 to 40k per yr. car carnage in the USA where no airliner has crashed in ages. Global numbers are closer to a million.
1
They risk their lives for the highest paid labor in the land plus potential glory and certain adventure.
1
Front yard fishing better then ever I here.
1
