  7.  @theoryofpersonality1420  Never heard anyone claiming dry grass spontaneous combustion. Just takes very little to light in hot dry conditions. Entire West was born to burn, we create big problems by not burning it frequently enough as was done seasonally by the natives, then ranchers, loggers and other forest users, going back multi-millennia. Then Feds in their infinite wisdom curtailed the practice around 1960 resulting in decades of fuel build up and catastrophic fires. Many native tree species can't even exist without fire.

  15.  @DevinaSt.Claire  It's already happening due to capitalism, technology and economics. Again, just DO YOUR part, why does government have to be involved? You won't believe me but CO2 is not a pollutant, it's a plant food and never was a driver of climate, I've studied the data and it's all fabricated hysteria, climate has never been stable nor tracked CO2 levels. The hottest temps were in the 1920/30s, around 1984 was a minimum which is why it's referenced, it fits the false narrative. Look into it.

  17.  @sueyoung2115  Where I am you have to always pay attention to grid conditions as it can be shut off or fail depending on the weather. Back up gen a necessity. I'd prefer quality personal solar with batt backup which I expect to do with new house build in a few yrs, prices will be significantly lower by then too.

  19. It's JUST A NAME. It ignited near Camp Fire Creek Road. It has nothing to do with 'camp fires' and it really doesn't matter HOW it's sparked, it's how and why the brush is so dense and explosive, something will always ignite it eventually. Lightening is not about to be terminated.
