@danielaguilar9330 See my comment above, heh heh heh.

I went shopping for and E46 M3 and wound up with an E92 for similar price, right choice for ME but I respect older ones a lot.
1
@ButchE30M3S14 I haven't even sat in one of those! Good for you. :D But the S65 revved up is addictive like no other affordable car IMhO.
1
Great car but steering wheel is crap, round is mandatory and stupid too many controls.
1
@TheMrwinkleberry No need for that--DIY it just like any other car.
1
@andrez1142 He must have taken it to a dealer. I've changed all the fluids myself just like any other car, it's not especially difficult, I do pay a lot for fluids but NOT BMW prices!...let alone their labor rates. I'm guessing I'd have DIYed all that maintenance for a grand or less. It's not a Toyota, if you can't fairly easily afford, say $100 for motor oil and filter every 5k miles and maybe $700 for rear tires every 10 to 30k miles then it's not for you. For me it's worth it so far.
1
TOTALLY agree with understated over the current trend. The loose lousy manual trans feel is THE worst aspect of my old 330 and that M5 apparently...strong gear boxes but they feel WAY below par for the rest of the car....could be a deal breaker resonably.
1
OK....but does it have a drift and doughnut mode?
1
Damn it would be embarrassing to be seen in THAT. 330 hp it can barely get out of it's own way.
1
Lower rear end is hideous while the rest is tasteful and attractive.
1
I would like the additional indicator lights on the inside of mirror as I the steering wheel often blocks the dash indicator lights. I sort of prefer manual seats, rarely adjust mine anyway and it's lighter and simpler.
1
No easy engine access is a deal breaker.
1
Running out of material. 😉 I almost bought one half decade ago, went w BMW E92-M3 instead. Respect and RIP Honda.
1
Going for 6XX ponies next yr while electrics are already 1XXX. :D Tesla needs to look at some of the driver assist graphics
1
Joe was a guy who asked for the feature.
1
Nothing wrong with the signals, it may take a day or two to get used to them and then you will like a little more or a little less than others. I have come to like it.
1
@spirosgal1885 To clarify--move it lightly to 1st 'detent' and it blinks one to three times depending on your selected settings, 3 blinks is typically perfect for most lane changes or merging, move it a little harder to 2nd detent and it behaves like any other signal staying on until your turn is complete and self cancelling. If one is hamfisted they may have a problem with it but they have no biz driving a car like this anyway IMO.
1
Once was part of a '73 Caddy destruction derby car entry. It was fantastic with SEVEN front bumper to frame braces! Think about it. lol We spent the rear end early but the front wouldn't quit bulldozing opponents.
1
Floor dimmer switch was the NORM for a long time!!
1
5:00 power distribution between wheels lacking, left spinning w/o right side or front spinning without rear driving hard enough...
1
This is PART of the reason I was shopping an E46 M3 but switched to an E92 M3 which I purchased for a little TOO MUCH $35k...but it was SINGLE owner, pristine, low miles, manual, comp. pkg., lite color, NO MODS...checked all my boxes. When I see 4 or 5 previous owners on a 10 yr. old car I assume all were "renters", no long term investment in the welfare of said car.
1
I applaud BMW for ignoring decades worth of criticism of their cup holders, if that's one's priorities they deserve a rubbish Chrysler not THIS.
1
It will be in the shop for expensive repairs frequently if history is any guide. Gauges look cheesy. Big brakes are a pleasant surprise. The "subtlety" is an essential aesthetic quality for me, I don't want to shout about it's performance. NICE review.
1
Joe was the guy who requested the feature.
1
Good vid. Too bad that car didn't get more sales. Only about 3 GM models per century that are any damn good.
1
@user-zb6ez4jl3u That sounds good, I paid double for half the miles but it checked ALL my boxes, manual, light color, pristine, SINGLE OWNER!, no mods, carbon roof, comp. pkg.....
1
Like $100k in today's money. What a DEAL. (($67k??)) Especially with those cheesy pie pan hub caps and riding mower power rating.
1
These signals work excellent it only takes a day to get used to them.
1
@incognito96 I do and it's my fave but there are plenty others I've never even driven.
1
29:12 Mirror image.
1
As an American it looks that way to me also. Utter RUBBISH.
1
This is the sort of garbage we had to endure when Detroit was successful at blocking import competition folks. Tailgate is cool tho.
1
Same here.
1
I see a price tag like that and ignore--out of my realistic fantasy range, I don't think about dating movie stars either. (but after a yr. or 3 my curiosity gets me)
1
Turns out they sell 'em to ANYONE. I bought one two yr.s ago. ;-)
1
PT Crapper I thought.
1
I have a nearly identical M3 and I agree the signals are fine, have grown to like them a bit more than others.
1
@RaGeAlucard The one simple thing they needed to change was the damn dipstick and I believe they did go back to it.
1
@RaGeAlucard I thought they back tracked on that but I don't follow closely cars I'm not shopping for. Yeah it's a flaw not having motor oil dipstick.
1
@RaGeAlucard In all likelihood the E92 M3 will be my last BMW just because it will be my last ICE car. Hell of a good way to end the petrol era however.
1
@RaGeAlucard 2 yr.s ago I initially was looking for a nice E46 M3 but they were scarce with a manny and $20k plus where as E92's were 20 to $40k plus and I began to realize how big a step there was between the two in terms of power, tech, transmissions, interior.... Ultimately I just fell in love with the S65 V8. The worst user experience aspect of my 330 is the tranny, it's durable but not particularly pleasant to use, reviewers may criticize the E92 6spd but it's vastly better than the old 5spd.
1
The turn signals work FINE. The power button only increases throttle sensitivity, sort of useless to me. If cup holders are your priority you don't deserve such a car.
1
Same here. Turns out they sell'em to anyone, I bought one a couple yr.s ago so can you. Not so much luck as trade offs your willing to make.
1
NOT "lying flat", but OK close as you want to be while moving
1
@albanemini1274 You can pop it off and replace with another if you like, I think it looks good enough but I'm not fixated on trivialities.
1
NOPE. The finned Caddy's were more bazaar at their peak. That screen was amazing for it's day!
1
Me too and that's why i watch...to see what others think and maybe learn something I didn't but should have known.
1
It's one of those silly unnecessary things, I'm thinking of pulling the fuse on mine so they don't wear out. Unless you are semi-incapacitated or obese it's not a problem to reach belts without the cheesy extenders.
1
@dailypovs7800 That may be easy for you but the fuse is a no brainer for me, takes seconds and just as easy to reverse. Appreciate the thought tho.
1
@dailypovs7800 The extenders are fragile looking I might add, very light wt. at least. Another thing I'd delete is the silly headlight squirters, those are only useful on snowy roads, the LAST place I'll ever drive it. Less is more in some cases. I realize some put winter tires on them and drive in snow but that's a ridiculous use of this car IMO, total waste, may as well have a cheap Toyota and put up the M3 for winter.
