  18.  @kevinfilbin7688  Give a look to the piney woods area north of Lake Pontchartrain, commuting distance from New Orleans, but fine if you want acreage, a horse - farm homesite, suburbs. Look at Franklinton, and vicinity, and north St Tammany Parish as well. Land elevation and flood zones should be considered. Tangipahoa Parish has a fine small university, Southeastern LA Univ, in a delightful small town of Hammond, halfway between NO & Baton Rouge. And BR is a great community and college town. Best wishes!

  20. As a Louisiana citizen in the hurricane zone, I support RAND PAUL on this! Sen John is well-meaning, but I’m sick to death of the rich being insured over multimillion dollar beachfront homes. Cover those like the people who lost homes from Katrina and other damaging storms that hurt inland homes. Let the wealthy live in safe locations.

Seems I recall from the Holy Bible (used by Christians) that in the Old Testament - in some of the writings by the Prophets sent after the time of King Solomon - that God told his chosen people Israel to rely on the Lord God for their protection from other nations, and NOT to enter into defensive military alliances with other nations. Rulers after Solomon chose to disobey this divine rule, and created offensive and defensive (war) alliances with non-Jews. So, God Almighty turned these disobedient Jews over to be thrown out of their land and lose their heritage. Not just once, but twice. Therefore, I expect God Almighty will “punish” the disobedient Jewish nation of 2024 for making foreign alliances for offense/defense with secular nations of Germany and America, and God will again deny Jews a “homeland” because they listen to foreign business interests rather than to the revealed Word of God Almighty. If you find Biblical fault with this, please explain it to me, so I may understand.
