So why is it always America or wealthy EU nations that are forced to open their borders FIRST? Their happiness is usually found from having and caring for a family and having kids, instead of the lie of a thankless and meaningless career which is usually paired with loveless dating in a useless search for Mr. Perfect when they are too old to even attract Mr. Average.   41. Exactly, if free speech only protects what is already considered good and appropriate speech by the majority, why do you need free speech? I understand that free speech is meant to protect from the government punishing you for what you say, but what is the point of saying the society believes in free speech when people are getting fired from their job for something they said or did while NOT at work? This also has a huge chilling effect on free speech, because even if you don't have to fear the government coming to arrest you or fine you, it is still a problem if you have to worry about being fired regardless of your work skills and performance.
