Somehow even though I was barely making any money, they thought I could afford paying full price for union membership on a WEEKLY basis. I didn't see any supposed benefits that made it worthwhile either.

  26. There will always be people that take advantage of what they can get away with. The bigger problem is the system and media that helps it continue. If it was standard for the clerks to pull out shotguns, we would start seeing a lot less flash robs. But that won't happen because coward companies would rather lose thousands than deal with paying medical cost and the social shame of having an employee rightfully defend the store.   39.  @OBJYN788  That isn't defending himself. He was not being attacked, merely detained no matter whether it was legal or not. These men are going to be punished for Arbery's idiocy. They had previous history with Arbery as well as a neighborhood history. If I was armed I would have chased him regardless of history, although I probably would have tried to keep a bit of distance and find out where he lives and call the cops.
