Yes City will be cleared again because there's nonevidenc. 20 some of the charges are about Mancini getting paid as a consultant for another club. The claim is he didn't do any consulting. Whats the evidence? There's none. All to "hide" 1m to avoid ffp 2 years before ffp existed. That's how dumb this case is. Read the CAS report. UEFA had no evidence. The FA has the same no evidence.

  18. @vbn2678  they aren't even charged with the same things. Everton books they turned in how they failed whatever alphabet soup term they're using now. City didn't. They're arguing City committing an actual crime, fraud. Everton could deny all they like, it wouldn't change anything. Their colums don't match. Simple math. The PL has to prove City have done something wrong. Didn't have to do that with Everton.

  21. People said the same thing when they brought in Torres, Lukaku etc... The reality is players have strengths and weaknesses and every system doesn't suite them. Victor has a particular style of play that Chelsea will have to adapt to. Will the players they have be able to do that? Will they thrive in that system or will it allow Victor to be successful but not the team? Kind of like Ronaldo at Utd. It's not as simple as "we need a striker, sign striker, happily ever after"

  22. @ang5491  Didn't Utd and Chelsea "feed" Lukaku? Yet it didn't work. You can feed a striker loads of crosses, but if they aren't skilled at finishing crosses it doesn't work. If a player is slow, feeding them balls into the channels doesn't work. Etc.. my point is the striker, the players behind him and the system has to match up so it takes advantage of everyone's skills. And not favoring 1 over the other which hurts the team.

  23. @ang5491  I get you, but they could be mistaken. Just because they agree that player X does what they want them to do doesn't mean they could misjudge their abilities. I think this is particularly true of Lukaku with Utd and cfc. He was the best option available and had "the numbers" so they thought he was the perfect fit.
