  6.  @apan990  you're missing the point. If an owner can spend loads of money on players then right it off like the money wasn't spent then there is no point to ffp. Why shouldn't every owner do the same? City spend 200m to get Bellingham and they right it off right?

Would you be making the same argument if City spent 200m for Bellingham and then write off off allowing them to spend another 200m on other players? What you're arguing for is no financial regulations, which I'm fine with as long as its for everyone. But we can't have a system where some clubs have to abide by financial restrictions and others dont.

  12. He had no chance of playing. Foden, Alvares, Bernardo, Grealish and Doku all ahead of him. Its why he never played any meaningful minutes last year. He didnt start a game until the title was won and even then it was only 2. Never came on as a sub until City were up at least 3 goals.

Eufa literally won every argument in their case. City argued eufa shouldn't be able to charge them due to the previous agreement, they lost that. They argued that because the documents were obtained illegally it shouldn't be used, they lost that. That they should have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt not a preponderance of evidence due to the fact eufa was claiming they broke the law, the lost that also. And yet eufa still couldnt prove thier case.

  24. ​@livinginlondon6122 not the same thing if you bothered to read the charges for each. Everton and Forrest submitted accounts that failed PSR. Its simple maths. City haven't failed PSR. The PL is charging them with false accounts. You cant do simple add this column and subtract this column like with PSR. They need to provide evidence of falsified accounts. So it had to go to courte and were waiting the result. But why do you assume theyre guilty? What's the evidence?

They've claimed City have committed the crime of fraud. The PL spent 150m the case. What evidence have they provided to support the charges that make you so sure theyre guilty?

  27.  @neiljeremy8684  but the NFL isn't really compatible. They added like 2 games. The season is still from September to December and then playoffs finish in early February. That gives them off for like 4 months then camp and preseason. Real football is off for like 2 weeks a year. Baseball has lots of games but they don't really do much. They aren't running 12k a game. Maybe 0.5 a game. NBA has 82 games plus playoffs but they don't have the international games except in olympic years. So they get a couple months off every year. Hockey is the same.

  28. @neiljeremy8684  and they don't have one in England, that's part of the problem. But the German league doesn't have nearly as many foreign players that play for national teams. All these extra meaningless international games is a big part of the problem along with the crazy travel. There aren't many if any south American players in Germany. Theyve got to fly back and forth from South america for every break.

  33. @john-tr8jy  I see. I disagree with you're "City are layered up". They have the same number of lawyers as everyone else. It's not going to effect any normal transfer fee. The only thing that's going to change is clubs are going to be less willing to send players to train with the kids.

How many of those goals were because of attacking tactics? How many were set pieces, which isn't "attacking football" and counterattacks? Mourinho has lietraly admitted his tactics are to defend like he'll and wait for a mistake. That's not attacking football. That's the definition of defensive football.
