  5. Well, The Ukrainians still have other planes sorrowing so the Russians have not succeeded in targeting the lot. So I'm sure some F-16 would survive as well. And just improving the long range air defence would be be an important 'defensive force-multiplyer' - less harm to Ukraine! They is NOT a bad thing!

  7. I believe a fully stocked F-16 can out-spot and out-range any Russian helicopter. Which would be their first, second or third, job, before even getting close to the frontline!

  9. someone here in the comments came up with a brilliant idea. Let the Ukrainians fly A-10 remote. Drone war XL! If anyone can pull that off, it's the Ukrainians. I'd love to see them have a go at it. Or have some former A-10 pilots volonteer to run it from a trailer park somewhere.

Kom i håg som Svensk Skandinav, att när fjenden hoter utifrån då är det ok, att vi INTE strider innbördes, typ Kalmarunionen, Judeaktionerne 1943, Sverige på väg inn i NATO, ock nu gemensamt jaktflygorganisation! Det är väll klart att jag som Dansk Skandinav förnöjs över att veta att de nu finns danska jaktplan som åter skyddar Skåneländerna! Menn vigtigare änn att vi får trakassera varandra är det väll att inte Bornholm och inte Gotland häller blir anfallna av eller faller til Ryssen! Eller hyr? Vist är ni svenskar utroligt irriterende. Ni är inte all som oss! Men gentimot Tysken eller Ryssen är ni ju fortfarende som bröder!

  33. You might want to inform yourself of fact before saying what is NOT happening. There are videos around slowing pilots in Ukraine 6 months ago learning English, student manuals, training on app simulators. Everything possible without having professional simulators and planes. So you can rest assured that the Ukrainians are indeed doing all they can. So I hope that makes you feel better about Ukraine's progress. If that is what you want?

  36. Unfortunately A-10 is a sitting duk against Russian air defence. It can only survive under friendly total air control. So no go. That's why US is shutting them down.
