There are lots of people who drives older cars, don’t have a car note and still can’t afford a $700 a month car note. What do they expect people to take out a car note for 10 years to bring that note under $300 ?

  7. Here’s an idea. Since there are so many people in this country that hates the other half of the country, it seems like they should be good with a national divorce. Let us separate, red states and blue states. They claim they have the money but we have oil and farmland. Businesses will have to decide if they want to live in states that allow criminals to take their property or in states that respect property. We don’t need Hollyweird cnn, msdnc, et al because we have independent film makers and media.

  12. I’m a grown a$$ adult that should be free to buy whatever kind of car I want. I have never liked GM cars. Had a Lincoln that had a manufacturer defect they never did a recall (I learned about it because I took it in when my trunk popped open when driving) and that turned me off from Ford. I really liked the brand car I have now, bought 4 different cars, until they got involved in politics but I will never buy that brand again.

  20.  @kacyandlaura  Not is all but in most cases. It’s escrow where your LENDER pays your PROPERTY TAXES to your STATE from your mortgage payments. Also, some lenders pay your home insurance too. Look it up. I is/was a homeowner in two different states. In both cases, the lender paid the property taxes.

  22. Actually, Larry, I will say lots of people do feel democracy is at stake but our definition of democracy differs. According to Dems, democracy is everything that goes against what they want. But real folks know the real threat to democracy is Dems pushing socialism, want to attack free speech, freedom to assemble, 2nd amendment rights, parental rights, using the federal government to strong arm corporations especially social media companies, using federal law enforcement to go after their political opponents and more.

  24. Interesting. I did shop there and Toy R Us when I was designing my child’s bedroom. I hope they are more affordable now. But why would they open in New Jersey, a blue state, a state that pushes abortions? It would make more sense to open in an area that supports in procreation.

  25. To me this conflict is scarier and could draw us closer to WWIII if it is true Afghanistan requested permission to pass through Iran, Iraq, Syria, plus to help Hamas fight with our weapons. As much as the US is propagandized to hate Russia, countries like Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq really hates the US and Israel and wants to blow us off the map.

We are facing so many different crisis; border invasion, crime waves, record level inflation, people wanting to sexualize other people kids, illegals preferential treatment in social services, our economy sucks. But once again, these people continue to vote for the politicians advocating for this crap. Yesterday's election result were not good for the GOP. Virginia Dems regain control of both chambers. Kentucky Dem incumbent governor won over AG Cameron (Trump endorsed) but GOP won Secretary of State and AG. Ohio voted to enshrine abortion in their constitution. Pennsylvania Supreme Court flipped a GOP spot to Dem (no election case will be passed). New Jersey remain blue in both chambers. This is sad. No matter how bad this country is, people will continue to vote for Dems because they hate conservatives more.

  38. Personally, I had a Lincoln once and will never buy another Ford car again. That Lincoln had a defect and the company never warned me about it. While I was driving my SUV, the back window will pop open when going over a speed bump. (And that happened when I was driving in scary areas, where the government put their offices for cheap real estate costs.) When I took it in the dealership, they fix it. The second time I took it in, that’s when they said it had a recall. If I didn’t take it in, I wouldn’t have known about it. Right now, I drive a vehicle from another manufacturer, which is my 4th from manufacturer.

  39. Why aren’t car manufacturers pushing back on this EV crap? Unless, of course, they know if they fail, the government will bail them out. Employees don’t under or don’t care that business operates for profit. Employees continuing to whine is going to push businesses to convert to AI quicker. People don’t want EVs because they are not affordable or reliable. It takes 5 minutes to fill up for 400 miles plus and not sitting there for 30 minutes plus waiting for a charge. In this free society, we should have a choice what kind of car to drive. As a Navy veteran who once stood watch on diesel propulsion engines, I understand how that system and nuclear propulsion works. I do not see how wind and solar can provide the same propulsion levels as diesel and nuclear especially when the wind don’t blow and sun don’t shine 24 hours a day.
