  2. As a black American, I’ve visited India, two years ago, New Delhi, Agra, and Mumbai. Yes, they have lots of slums, but like every other country in the world they have the haves that the very wealthy and have nots that is very poor. It is hard to see, but it’s not limited to India. One of the things my tuk-tuk driver told me is how the poor people have 5+ kids, but the wealthy people only have one and two. It was an awesome experience. It is comical now in US politics, watching Kamalon who is an Indian representing the wealthiest demographic in the USbut is placating to black Americans, which is the lowest economic demographic in the US. Crazy times.

  3. On the flip side, I allowed my child freedom to do and try things, I actually encourage trying lots of things, encouraged going out with friends, but she still developed immense anxiety. Parenting is not simple. Growing up today is even harder. Find a good stress reliever that can calm you down. Good luck.

  4. I had an opportunity to go to a Hindu temple and seeing a funeral in Kathmandu, Nepal last year. And because of what I learned, not remember all of the details of Mahatma Gandhi life history, when I went to his home in Mumbai, India, seeing how his funeral was his body being burned, that’s when I realized he was Hindu. Reading a book is one thing but learning by walking the paths of historic is more rewarding. Anyway, I can’t love Vivek anymore than I do. He is so impressive.

  5. As a black American, I visited Turkey 2 years ago and didn’t experience this because if I don’t talk, they don’t know which country I am from. However, in the mid-90s when I was in the military and we were in South Asia, we were told ‘you Americans go home’ while walking through the town. In other South Asian countries, we had a hard time getting a taxi. At first I thought it was because we were black but when I questioned it with others, they said it was because they hate Americans. That was when I learned that there are people around the world that hates Americans.

The way he handled the media was top notched and he needs a major position in the administration. Keep in mind, he went from an unknown to most to getting 7% of the vote, beating former governors from 2 states. As or Tulsi, I think she should become SECDEF to clean up the military.

Too many people, especially the media influencers and the establishment are praising and trying to push Nikki as the party representative. She is a warmonger and they want her because it benefits them, the oligarchs, financially. It will never work because it shows the disconnect between them and the people. This, like the speaker’s battle, is exposing this disconnect. We need someone who will speak about our issues, our needs, our wants and not prioritize what the wealthy wants.   17. Thank you for having Dr. Woodson on this show. I’ve learned about his work for almost three years now. Our school systems have a way of not teaching important historical people. Although I am not as old as him, I do believe it is a very divided time in this country. People are profiting from this division and that’s why it is happening and why it will continue. If we keep people being mad at each other, they will be too busy to look at the people at the top who is responsible for this. Also, you have two wealthy people from other countries, Hungary and Germany, who hate the US and the West, even though they made their wealth from those policies, they now wants to destroy it. They know the chaos benefits them and they will profit because of it, so they are comfortable watching everybody else suffer. I think that is the real white supremacy going on right now. Those wealthy men treating everyone else like a checker piece on the board knowing the game is rigged so it is hard for the common folk to win the game.

  19. My wake up call was after Katrina Hurricane and a bunch of wealthy did the telethon asking normal people to donate. Those people wear jewelry/clothes worth more than our cars, drives car worth more than our houses, lives in houses where their monthly utility bills is more than our take home salaries and homes costs more than what our entire subdivision will make.   21. ‘That’s nuts.’ Very appropriate. My child went through that same thing but it started for her in college. As a freshman, she said she was demisexual or pansexual. Sophomore, a pansexual or demisexual (the opposite of the previous year. I can’t remember that bs.) Her final year, bisexual. But by graduation, queer. She had a boyfriend then. I asked why she feels she had to put herself in a box. This is a black child who went to private school from K4-12, lived in middle class suburbs, drove luxury cars, went to Paris and Toronto for school trips, been to all 50 states and had everything but claimed to be oppressed because of her race and sex. Americans, especially those who are always complaining do not understand how many other cultures are living and I wish they can swap with many of those living in third world countries for one week.

But it was the this protest in Turkey this past weekend, that actually sent chills down my back, and not in a good way. He spoke about how he is going to fight for his Muslim brotherhood and also blamed the west. I am so happy I had an opportunity to go to both Israel and Turkey last year. The way things are looking, this world is going crazy.

  42. This happened to me a couple of months ago. I was in a store and the cashier had a Caribbean accent. Because I have an accent, I walked her where was her accent from. She said Haiti. This was after BBQ started causing havoc so I asked if she still have family there and I wish them luck. She complimented my knowledge of knowing what’s happening there and said how I seemed to know a lot more than a lot of Americans. I responded how I follow international news. Then, she blamed …. Trump. I asked her how can you blame Trump when it was the CLINTON FOUNDATION who ripped off Haiti, way before Trump was into politics. Some people are programmed to blame Trump for everything. It is sickening.
