  6. I had a friend that I worked with who lost his condo in a hurricane in Galveston. He had to got to court a couple of times because the insurance didn't wat to pay.

  14. I was in Beavercreek one summer to help my cousin as her husband was in the hospital for over a year. My husband came to visit and he had to go to a White Castle to relive his college days. The only one we could find was in one of those really bad areas of Dayton. My husband and I have taught in some bad ares in the LA area. The White Castle kept people out by running their AC close to freezing. We got our food and had to go outside to eat it because we couldn't stand the cold. We were so harrased by the locals it was crazy.

  22. The other problem is that many people did not pay rent during the pandemic, and they could not be evicted. Granted I feel for them because many people were not working but what breaks did the owners get? People are getting evicted now and rents have gone sky high, there are always consequences.

  27. From about 2005 to 2013 my husband and I went to Vegas a lot. His niece and her boyfriend lived there so it was cheap and fun. There were much worse areas near downtown near the freeway underpasses. There were just gangs of homeless people roving around. We were down there to pick up his niece for lunch as she worked in the area. I can't even imagine what it is like now.

  35. I am glad I got to visit Hawaii back in the late 70's before all this happened, my cousin lived on the base, so I get to stay with her and her husband.
