It sounds like our government knows how to find a safe spot for themselves but the citizens are screwed.

The best oxymoron, "rush hour". You are not rushing anywhere in So Cal on the freeways unless it's 2 am.

After I got married, I traveled a lot with my husband all over. Ww never really found any state to be unfriendly, just occasionally unfriendly people.

I use to love going to Portland in the early 2000s. I wish it hadn't gotten so bad.
64
Glendale gets a lot of smog and you better have lots of cash for Irvine.
63
My concern with Arizona is the lack of water.
45
The only town that I am interested is Hendersonville. I would prefer a more conservative area to live in.
35
I can see Texas pulling away as a separate country but I don't think the others have enough income to do so.
33
I never planned to visit any of these places but thanks for the info.
31
I don't know how people could afford some of these cities with their housing prices.
31
I would be interested in the best counties that are in the mountain areas of Tennesee, Kentucky, NC and so on.
28
I love how you left out Long Beach off your list of nice beaches in LA. Nobody wants to mention the "ghetto by the sea" town. I live here so I should know.
28
St. George is just as hot as Arizona in the summer.
25
Funny I have heard Medford being called Methford.
25
Beware of living in interesting times.
23
As a retired public-school teacher, I agree with you 100%.
23
Hey Louisianna finally made the top of the list!
20
I bet you are all cheering for the bison 🦬, 😅😅😅.
20
New Jersey does have some beautiful areas.
20
I learned about all the places I don't want to move to, thanks Briggs.
16
I loved Maine but I couldn't handle the winters there.
16
Your jokes were off the charts on this video!
16
I believe that was the goal of our founding fathers, the Federal government would not be so powerful.
16
I knew Mississippi would be at the top! California was a wonderful place to grow up in the 60's and 70's but now I hardly recognize the place.
15
No way would I live anywhere near Houston after Hurricane Harvey parked itself overhead for 6 days.
15
What? Stockton CA didn't make the list?
15
Most of these states have very cold winters.
14
Those are my people!
14
I am in Cali, born here, and I can't wait to move out. Don't worry I don't bother to vote because my vote doesn't matter here in CA. I just don't know where to go.
14
Those harsh winter keep me from moving to the midwest.
13
I would love to live in Switzerland.
13
I agree with you on the good old USA is going downhill fast. Too many fighting over silly things and not fighting for important things.
13
Please do some more where home prices are a little lower.
12
I just love your humor, a honey badger with hemorrhoids and a bad tooth.
12
I knew California would be number 1.
11
WV, here I come get me out of California!
11
My husband was one of those people that loved the open spaces. I am a tree person so I want those mountains! I am surprised that Maine was not higher up on the list, we drove around the state and it was just amazing.
11
The Coast Starlight is a beautiful trip, driving along the Oregon coast and the drive along the coast in Maine are also very beautiful. Trains rarely run on time and can turin into nightmares. We were coming home on the Starlight and a cargo train in front of us derailed in a tunnel with at least a 36 hour delay. We went backwards for about an hour to Eugene, had to wait until they found a bus big enough to take us to Sacramento, and then got back on a new train to LA.
11
As a pet owner I stay home and hide with my pets.

I have lived in the LA area most of my life and I am 66. Every thing you said is true and even the town I live in Long Beach has some really bad areas but also has some very wealthy areas. Plus if you move here it is easy to get stuck. I can't really afford to live here on my retirement but I can't afford to move either.
10
I would consider Columbus Ohio
10
Wow, I can't believe That Los Angeles didn't make it!
10
Thanks for the warnings on these locations.

I love San Francisco but I could never afford to live there.
9
I have heard that from several Native Americans.
9
They say that one forest fire in California undoes all the good that has been done with vehicle emissions, which cost the taxpayers big bucks.
9
The drugs and mental illness are a big part of it but the cost of housing is making everything worse.
9
I have a friend that is a reseller in Tennesee and he drives to another state to mail out his items and almost everything he mailed from his local post office got sent to Memphis. Most of the packages never made it out of the Memphis unless it was in the back of a postal carrier's personal car.
9
All the casinos are nickel and diming people to death with their resort fees, parking fees, and so on.
9
My nephew got a football scholarship to Tuscon. He said it was great if you like living on the surface of the sun.
