It is vastly better than Wendover Productions who ends every sentence... Just... Like... This. Because apparently ending sentences in three words... Sounds... More... Profound.

No doubt Haiti has had it rough. Yet blaming the French for how it is now is outright ridiculous. They've been sovriegn for ages. They stopped paying the debt nearly a century ago. (Which was ridiculous. Why even keep paying it when you aren't trading globally.) I didn't realize Europeans were setting up gangs, and forcing them to kill each other or commiting crimes against each fellow man, woman, or child. Seriously, I'm seeing that story in Africa, and places like Haiti. They are responsible for their own situation in modern day when it comes to crime. But white man bad, eh? Those poor, poor people have no precedence. They just need to look into the mirror to see where the problem lays. Sad how the world gives no ** about them slaughtering each other. Not that I do, but I don't pretend to. Sent ten bucks during the earthquake. That is my participation for a life time. Next time I'll expect some sugar cane or something. No freebies.

@yuliyasambo Yeah and props to them. It's a treacherous trip. How humans found fucking islands in the middle of the ocean has always boggled my mind. Like was it that they got lost?! Did they fish?! Follow some migrating birds? Always wondered why sailors never fished in the ocean. Especially during the age of sail - like hey see there? Get a rope and make some nets and we can drag it with the boat and hopefully catch something.

@danieljensen2626 Nope impossible! You read what he just said? Canal is easy. Power? Nope! It ISNT THERE.

Laws can change, and are not a holy text, created by God. In fact some founding fathers wanted us to redo the constitution every 20 years. Thomas Jefferson being the loudest. I agree with him. Some laws are impeccable, and timeless. Others might be a little outdated. Outside of that things should change with the times. The way I see it. People living full time in a stateless state was the problem! Then taxing the sons of bitches. How about no tax on residents. A restriction on population or something like that on top. If adding more representation is somehow going to break the country that is. I don't believe it would, but hey I am just a pleb. I think first past the post is a really crap system that should be changed anyway. If Republicans cease to exist since they could no longer Jerry meander their way out? The Democratic party would probably split themselves, or have a ton of infighting. I am not sure if more representatives would actually help the country or just keeping at 435 with more states. Jerry meandering is such BS anyway.

All and I mean all empires fall from within. Outside forces may instigate and widen the fracture but eventually they die from a conflict and the corpse is broken up into different factions who try to consolidate power. Empires fall, the crows await. America just needs like a few hundred more million people to truly shine.

@jont2576 Russia did take on Germany because Russia was supplied by America. Germany on the other hand was cut off from the world basically- they lost the war when they lost Africa. Russia did bloody and win the war with Germany but only because a good portion of their resources were tied up in the west and their industry was being annihilated by strategic bombing. America literally had the largest naval force ever assembled on the door of Japan. We nuked Japan to save lives - Including Japanese lives. Japan would have fallen but it would have annihilated the entire Japanese people and cost hundreds of thousands of more lives including Russian. (Stalin wasn't going to sit back and not take more pieces of land.) If America went to war with Russia we could build up in a Europe unscathed and attack through multiple areas. We can also attack through Alaska and Japan at the same time. Russia can attack America from... Where? They have no friends in the Western hemisphere. Russia can't even take Ukraine... Sorry... Russia is pathetic now. Those oligarchs took all the wealth and blew it without keeping their strength. Ukraine won't be taking Crimea. All the civilians there seem to be Russian now anyway since all the Ukrainians basically were leaving since 2014.

@kingwing3203 LOL. How is China going to stop the US from getting US designed chips from Taiwan? Hey did you mourn the deaths of Tianamen Square? The anniversary was just recently. So many students and protesters grinded into meat sludge. Knowing the Chinese. Some counterfeit meat was probably sold the next day in the markets.

@MidWitPride Judging by how their people react they would just slaughter you for stepping on their yard. I agree that a stuffed animal is stupid. Also bringing in a pig that may carry a disease is too. That guy is smug. I bet he thinks they live in some tribal paradise or some shit but maybe it's a horrible society by modern standards and they are struggling to get by while raping 12 year olds. Also India and eastern societies... Peaceful... Unlike the west. My ass! Tell that to all the minorities who live in hellcapes of the greater Asia. Oh doesn't India still have caste issues although technically illegal? Both sides have done shady shit over the centuries. Let the past be the past, tired of the east vs west mentality.

I feel America. Centralized nations over fuedal societies. First the renaiassance. Age of exploration, age of sail, and then the industrial age all on a huge continent with nigh untapped resources? Then add in all the turmoil in Europe which means millions of immigrants looking to expand? We were in the right place at the right time. Then our leaders consolidating power as Europe continued to battle each other in more profitable colonies. America has a lot to owe to the way Britain's colonies worked. We weren't just used or abused as badly as those in South America. If you look at colonization and the differences between how the powers ran their colonies you'd see Britain was much different in America/Australia then say Spain and Portugal who effects are still felt today in South America. Hell the East Indie trading company alone was a nation without a border and changed the world. Not sure how the Dutch operated.

@christopherwhull Population density is an issue and the fact Americans are stubborn. Yeah a high speed rail sounds great but wait it is in MY neighborhood?! A train station here?! You want to buy my shit little house/land worth 100,000$?! Well I want five times that as I have memo-ReeEees heeREEEEE!!! I wonder how much freight is transported through our river systems and canals. Are there any huge main rivers that go from the Mississippi to the Rockies that people use for large amounts of freight? I just realized I know a few. Also I just realized almost all rivers flow south.

Even China knows they can't take Taiwan chip factories. The second they get any foothold someone is blowing those FABs up. I wonder if they US would start shipping out their highest skilled engineers. Start bringing in Ospreys to grab their families. Anyway. You know since Taiwan has so many allies. Taking it by force would be a blood bath. Maybe they I don't know. Would try to sway the Taiwanese people to be like, "It would be so much better if you joined us. We'd give you this, that or this. Better then your current government!" Maybe then the Taiwanese themselves would be okay with being part of the mainland again. If the majority voted I'd have no issue with them reuniting. Yet they don't want to be a part of the CCP, because they aren't dumb. So due to that alone I think China should just leave them be, and the mandate of China can go F themselves. This isn't Dynasty Warriors.

@binee4250 It When it comes to China it is way more complicated than energy. America alone can be self sufficient. We are one of the top exporters. Things like the petro dollar. Containing China and their influence. Making sure they don't surpass us with AI technology. The west isn't perfect and can be pretty bad, but I would prefer a world dominated by the west then the CCP. Containing China seems like a good goal to me as China is by far the worse when it comes to environmental, human rights (for a great power.) And letting people say what they want. As my Chinese friend says - "Han way of the hang way. The Han only care about the Han." I do want peace. I want both sides to be less greedy as well. Seems like stocks and shareholders actually rule the world at times. Money definitely does.

Pretty sure every country is basically saying the same to be quite honest. Why we shunned nuclear is beyond me. More people die from fossil fuels anyway just ask those who live near the plants even though if is significantly better. I feel like we should make them for places like Las Vegas and start making some desalination plants and huge water recycling plants plus so we can stop stressing our aquifers and rivers. We just gotta be better in general. I won't see fusion in my life time. Nuclear waste can be dealt with and some of it reused for other things I guess.

@aexetanius Tiktok isn't for me but there are tons of things we all could be doing with our free time ya know? I love science and history but do I really need to know what type of fire arms the early Mongols used and was their Empire the cause of how quickly firearms were spread? Nope! Yet it is entertainment. I may never use a lot of things I learn and probably should study for more practical things that will make me more successful if we want to be technical. It is nice to turn off and tune out! Healthy even! I've met people who have to be doing something they deem constructive and don't know how to relax... They aren't happy people overall and some are even miserable. I'll take a clueless tiktoker any day haha.

Nah just Putin needs to be overthrown by someone who actually cares about their people and not leaving a legacy of expansion. A good leader who can work both east and west while giving Russia a path to becoming a power by using its resources to invest in its own people. Instead of lining the pockets of corrupt oligarchs and government officials. Thats all this war is about. Putins legacy. Russia was never threatened by invasion. Putin just wants to be remembered alongside other great Russian leaders like Peter the Great - he wants to be the savior who brought back Mother Russia from the brink of irrelevance, and into the world's super power that even surpasses the corrupt USA.
