We just get on with the job and get satisfaction from a good career we can walk away from in one piece, the only thanks I needed was from my wife and kids, colleagues. I didn't need the public to kiss my arse in any way, I just served them and the Crown because that was the job. I wasn't Army I was RN by the way.

  22. I would love to see these things happen with T-45 - some of them are in the pipeline. Aster 1NT, BMD capability - drop the 30 mm autocannons for 40mm. Replace the 4/5 with a 76mm Oto Melara or a 57mm cannon. Remove phalanx and replace with RIM-116. Add a 16 cell Mk-41 instead of the mushroom farm for Sea Ceptor - then we can use lots of different weapons instead of only Ceptor. Fantasy fleet I know but the T-31s are showing the way with their fit.

  36. As long as you have good AC the crews will be fine. Colour makes no difference to an IR signature index unless the chemical properties in each paint colour are different and have a different absorption profile.

  47.  @Mis-AdventureCH  The shape of the warhead, which has a relatively large cross section tells me it was not designed for deep penetration. Rather, with "some" penetrating capability. Deep penetrators are thin, long devices of a small cross section. Granted, the velocity of the weapon will aid penetration but that has to be offset with a very thick warhead casing, as in Kinzhal. The main constraint for penetrators is the deceleration limit for the design.
