  13. SK doesnt need long range fighters. SAMs dont search for targets at range using IR they still use radar to cue those systems or via datalinked information. They have opted for Meteor and no doubt other long range stand off weapons, the KF-21 will be complemented by systems that enhance its strength not weakness.

  14.  @DemocraticSolutions  Not all SAM systems use IR guided missiles, the ones that do still need radar to cue the targets unless they are at close range, or use passive RF detection, or are part of a net, or a combination of the above.

  18. Not really, the engine intakes are totally different and it has no internal weapons bays, all of its loadout will be carried underwing or on its belly.
