  7. No but the conscripts are getting younger, they just lost 30,000 in Kursk, and the ones that are left are demoralized that russian divisions actually get to rotate out of the combat zone, where the ukrsins are stuck until they're p.o.w's or casualties.

Exactly, part of respecting Ukraines sovereignty meant not funding a coup to oust Yanukovych in breach of Ukraine's sovreignty, all it did was bing the nation to civil war and ruined its relations with its strongest ally and trade partner while destroying regional stability. That is absolutely the US's fault and the US should be required to admit to that fact in any peace settlement with Moscow.

Those profits are what's driving this conflict, not some false narratives about nonexistent democracy in Ukraine or the plight of the Ukrainian people.

There are other ways to end the conflict bud, and it can be alot worse on Ukraine, who are now almost completely dependent on US armaments, they already got the guns but they need a regular supply of shells that the US makes, all it would take the US to end the war is place an arms embargo on Ukraine along with sanctions against any nation that tries to transfer US weapons to Ukraine, You lot were happy when the federal government seized billions of dollars that Russia had in US accounts, the US can do the same to the UK, France, Germany, Poland and so on as well under the same legal precedent.

Ukraine has 700,000 compared to Russia' 1.014 million active standing army, they have only deployed 10% of their forces in Ukraine, Zelensky stated 2 weeks ago that Ukraines casualty rate is unsustainable, while russia is suffering a higher casualty rate, they can account for it, rotate new divisions of active personnel from the far east and the Baltic while having those positions augmented with reserve, of which Russia has a further 2 million serving, I'm surprised how efficiently this operation has been carried out, most of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions have been occupied and shielded by russian forces, the Ukrainian army no longer has the strength to recapture these territories, and a solid land border now connects Crimea to the Russian Federation, their most pertinent objectives have been accomplished, with what remains is to denazify the Ukrainian army leaving it in a position to where it can no longer threaten the citizens of Crimea and the Donbas, The last time Russia denazified Ukraine, they suffered 2.4 million casualties and the campaign took 2 years. they're moving faster this time, the west saving Ukraine is about as likely as army group Steiner saving berlin in 1945.

If you havent noticed all the sanctions Russia has been held accountable, and gives not one fuk at all, Zelenskii has the say in giving up claim to a quarter of his country that chose to leave in the first place or he can walk away from the talks in keep fighting until hes lost another quarter, Russia has the Ukros in Kursk under seige, when they're destroyed or surrender Russia is going to pivot it's full attention on Kharkov, then Odessa, Russia isnt afraid of casualties if Zelenskii wants to keep playing that game.

As such, they are not entitled to any protection under PoW status, they are mercenaries, the fears of them being executed is unfounded. they were captured by russian forces and will be tried in Russia, the death penalty in russia has been banned since 1996.

The only thing the operation did to Putin was validate Russian state propaganda, and because of it recruitment in russia is increasing with a flood of pissed off volunteers
