What a gorgeous sunrise! That is a very beautiful area, and as you said, very quiet.

Another great, thoughtful video, thank you!

I believe that Dia de Muertos should be celebrated all over the world! It looks like such a wonderful tradition and an important one. Thank you for giving some history of the day.

Another great, interesting video! The process of making barbacoa is painstakingly long and I'm very impressed with Claudia and her dedication to making it the right way, and having all women working the process!

I enjoyed this comparison video and yes, I would like to know more about the Toltecs. No street vendors in SMA, wow. I have seen Gina from Gringos R Us eat chapulines several times and have heard about seasonal ants as well, so a video about the insects that are eaten there would be cool. I would also like to see a video about a day in the life of a Mexican from their (or your) point of view.

Nice to see the differences in cultures and the fact that you are still best friends!

I'm very happy for you! Working on your house with your family is making lifetime memories for all of you and I'm anxious to see what you are doing to the house!

Really nice house tour! The stand-alone home is huge and beautiful, probably most people can't afford to live there, I sure can't, lol. The other place in Centro was lovely and that balcony was great, still above what I can afford, but much more reasonable. If you can do more of these, I would certainly watch!

I agree that those labels are derogatory and outdated, I don't use them, and hadn't heard of a "second world" country. I agree that a description of the country is much better. It's good to weed things out of our collective vocabulary when they become useless. Thanks!

Thanks for showing us vegetarian options!

I always keep your classes in mind! (Just have to save up!)

Very interesting history there, love that a woman fought for the underdog. Thanks for explaining!

LOL, Jenny!

How amazing! Karen, this is a life-changer for you! I wonder how many others have the same problem with their tongue? It's good that there are exercises that you did while in Viet Nam that helped. It is a type of speech impediment, and people worldwide have them. I was taught as a child not to make fun of people who have trouble speaking, it is a hurtful thing to do.

That looks like so much fun.
